I really like my Roku 3. I can watch Sling, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and hundreds of other channels. You can even watch Lynda.Com on the Roku. Overall this a great device that will save you money in the long run over cable and satellite.

Had a little trouble installing but was able to get help. Once installed works perfectly with easy operation. Love being able to watch movies and TV shows with one monthly fee. Watching 2 movies a month basically makes it worthwhile.

The Roku 3 is a great device for someone who loves to watch movies and tv shows. The channel selection lets me have everything in one place and as said before there is plenty to watch. My only complaint is that some of the channels (Disney, Nick) need a valid cable subscription to access more than 1/2 episodes of a show and Comcast Xfinity isn't one of the supported providers. I realize this is no fault of Roku but I got this in the hopes of having something quick and easy to cut on for when my nephew is over and have a bunch of stuff for him to watch. One other annoying little thing is occasionally the voice search will cause the whole system to reboot which takes about 2 - 3 minutes. This happens randomly and I have yet to pin down what causes the issue. Roku has said to update the firmware and repair the remote but that has been done. Although I do wish the new models of the Roku 3 offered 4K resolution but I once again understand it is business and the Roku 4 offers that. Just wish I would have known that before purchasing.

I'm not electronicly inclined but this device is simple and very easy to use. I highly recommend the Roku 3 for the electronicly disadvantaged.

We decided to finally dumb cable. We are somewhat tech ignorant, so we researched all our options, spoke to sales associates at Best Buy, who were SO GREAT, and decided on the Roku. Super easy set up, even for not-so-smart people like us.

I love my Roku. The Roku has been a hit at our house. Faster than our original Roku 1 and easier to use. The interface is spiffy and quick. We really love it and highly recommend!

I'm a reviewer all the way. I read them and wrote them, but I also try the products myself to get a true baseline. I love Apple, but I also like Amazon Prime movies, so without the integration (screen share only), Apple was out. I tried Amazon Fire (newest gen box, not stick) since it was supposed to work with their app so well.. It was super slow, lagged, stuttered, among other issues I had. I tried ChromeCast and mehh...useful, but not what I was looking for in a complete package. I tried the Roku stick due to size and simplicity...too slow. I already had a Roku 3 (older gen) and really gave the others a shot. But, in the end...got another Roku 3 (newest gen). I don't have a 4K TV, so no need for the Roku 4. This device is simple, runs smooth, streams wirelessly with no hiccups and has been my favorite device hands down. I can screen share from my phone, use my phone as a remote, use it wired or wirelessly, plug in media via mini SD and USB, listen privately with headphones plugged into the remote, use the remote fast keys, and more. I like that the remote also does not have to point at the base, allowing me to hide it behind my TV for a cleaner look. Great device...you will my regret it.

I have Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, and Chromcast. I used the Fire TV Stick the most often, until I gave it to my pops after ditching cable. To replace it, I opted for the Roku since it has Amazon Prime. I knew the Roku stick was slow, just like the Fire TV Stick, so I bought the Roku 3. It definitely is fast and snappy, and doesn't slow down like the Fire TV Stick. It's not exactly a fair comparison, but with the Roku having all these devices at various price points, this isn't exactly unfair either. Anyway, while the speediness is definitely great, the interface on most of the Roku apps seem outdated capared to the Fire TV. For example, the HBO Go app on the Roku is hard to use, and the interface is clunky. I can bookmark an episode, but I cannot bookmark a series to get to quickly. Most of the apps are like that. Another thing I miss is the variety of Fire TV apps. Bottom line, good speedy device, with lots of streaming apps. But, most of the apps' interfaces are outdated. Oh, and the headphone jack on the remote is great.

Great product. Much better than previous models. Faster and more efficient. Great remote with headphones. Easy to set up. Works well.

Was a bit unsure about purchasing a streaming device and whether it would be really useful, but a few weeks after buying the Roku I've been very impressed. Great product, features and ability. I am very happy with this purchase.

I use this in my bedroom where I have basic cable and limited channels. There are tons of channels to choose from and very user friendly.

I have a Amazon Fire TV & Fire Stick. I love this Roku 3 more because it has excellent features, like for instance, voice search via the remote control which gives you results across different services, such as Netflix.. Hulu etc

This unit has it all! Lots of apps and really fast! The headphone remote is a plus for late night streaming! The voice feature is ok. Amazon fire tv has a better voice command response but this has quick links to Netflix! Awesome!

I never realized how nice the ear buds hooking into the remote control would be for my bedroom television. It offers quiet for my spouse while I watch my shows at night.

Easy to set up and begin using. Lots of channels and streaming is real smooth I just wish it had more built in memory but it does allow a memory card so no biggie. Takes photos and video right from your phone and shows them on your tv, I love that for family viewing. Overall I really like it.

The Roku 3 is a great streaming box. This is the third one that I have. Was thing of the Roku 4, but my TV does all that the 4 does, so decided to get the 3. May consider the Roku 4 later on. Best streaming on the market!!!

My favorite out of all streaming devices. I own one and I got one for my parents. Easy and user friendly interface. Many free options and have all the essentials as well

Great value and super easy to use. My tech Un-saavy husband had no problem setting it up and using it. If you're ready to cut the cable cord I highly recommend this product.

Easy set up. Hubby loves getting Youtube on roku rather than our smart tv because it does not drop or crash like the tv access does. I have direct tv with lots of movies options so I have not used roku much yet, but so far so good.

Love this product.. Easy to set up, simple to use. I have the last gen in the bedroom & this has gone downstairs. Great selection of channels. It just keeps getting better.
