Brought it home and plugged it in, and the setup was very easy. The unit was just what I was looking for. A ton of app's to stream.

I got the Roku 3 and it was easy to setup, a lot of channels to watch, some of them with pay subscription and fast streaming of movies.

For the record, I have 3 Rokus in my house. I recntly purchased this when my gen 1 Roku 2 started acting wonky. This "updated" version of the Roku 3 is still a great product but I honestly cannot see a tremendous difference from the gen 1 Roku 3. At times, I see some general lagginess in the UI which isn't a reason not to buy it more than it is an annoyance. That is my only real complaint, that Roku has done zero to significantly update their UI for this product. If you want something to watch Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, etc this is a great option. Hopefully, Roku will push a software update that will make this device perform a little smoother.

I previously used a DVD player for streaming apps like Netflix. Roku is much faster and I can subscribe to international channels too.

Read all the streaming services ads and reviews. Read the excellent Roku differentiation advice on all models offered. The Roku 3 fit our needs. Easy to install; easy to add free services. Voice command control works fine, even with husband's British accent. Even our Time Warner cable service is easier to navigate with Roku. Best Buy store honored the internet price which was lower than the in-store price.

This is such an upgrade from the last ones. Over 2,000 channels is the major plus. It's easy to set up and easy to use. I love it!

This was an upgrade to my Roku 1. The IR range is much improved and the new customizable interface is fun. Being able to plug headphones into the remote is nice for late night watching.

I was having trouble maintaining a signal with my Panasonic Blu-Ray player, so I decided to try the Roku 3. Been using it for a few weeks now and have had no problems maintaining signal. Set-up was easy. Menus are okay, but not as intuitive as they could be. Wish the remote had a keyboard. The smart phone app works pretty well, especially voice searching for titles on Netflix. Overall, I think this was a good purchase.

This thing is fast and simple. I use the app on my tablet or phone instead of the remote a majority of the time. It connects quickly and stays connected. It also helps when searching. I love being able to use Amazon Prime along with all of my other subscriptions.

It was easy to install and easy for us to use. Great for getting things like Net Flix!! I have recommended to several friends!!

The Roku is a great way to have access to an amazing number of apps, programs, and other streaming services all in one small box!

Controller quit working after a couple months. Much faster than the previous versions. Best for playing Netflix, and using Plex for streaming personal videos from your computer.

I have been using this for the last many months and this is the best streaming player!!!

This is actually my 3rd purchase of the Roku 3.. We love them.. They are very easy to setup and navigate.. Never had a problem

now we have 2 ROKU units and love them, my teen age daughter and wife, grandkids etc. Everyone that sees it now wants their own!

Haven't had this for very long, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Video quality is excellent. This is a great step towards minimizing my dependence to cable. Thinking about getting a second roku for my vacation home. The downloadable app works well. The roku compliments my Google tv and is superior to the video portion of my Sony Blu Ray. I'd like to see if this would work with my slingbox eliminating the need for multiple units. If anyone knows it this is possible please leave a message in the comments. Thanks!

Love this thing!! Chose the Roku 3 because it had an external Ethernet not just the wifi connection and it has so many apps for watching so many things!! Haven't had any issues maybe just restart it few times a year but other than that's it's awesome! Would recommend this over Apple TV and fire stick for sure!

Fantastic no problems whats so ever. came in just 2 days. hook was as simple as plugging it all in and signing into everything.

Nice, compact unit which was easy to hook up and getting connected was a breeze. Especially like the earbuds for quiet viewing.
