The Roku 3 is a nicely designed device. So easily installable, it's easy to over think the installation. The feel of the remote control is sublime. My only concern is that it gets quite warm. So, we'll see if that becomes an issue.

I had the Roku 2 and returned it for the Roku 3 since it was on sale for less than the Roku 2. I really liked the Roku 2 as well but I didn't like the controller how it had to be pointed directly at the unit to work. Roku 3 the remote works from anywhere! You can have your unit tucked away somewhere and the remote still works! The remote also has voice search and a headphone jack, unlike Roku 2. I'm very happy with how it performs, all of our streaming services work great. We have Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, VUDU, and SlingTV etc. We used to have issues with Hulu and Sling while streaming through the Xbox one, but now with the Roku 3 everything works smooth. No buffering, and loading, or glitching during sports. So happy I got the Roku 3. I definitely recommend it for cord cutters.

My kids have this unit and I enjoyed using it so when my cable company wanted me to rent another box monthly in order to continue to receive cable TV on my bedroom TV I decided to buy a Roku instead. It's great for what I watch in the bedroom & saves me the monthly expense of another cable box.

My husband and I have the xbox connected to the tv and we were always wanting to watch netflix but hes always on the xbox so we bought this and it works amazing and we have no issues. We can also rent recent movies that just came out so cool!!

Voice activation works really great. Just say the name of your favorite movie star or title and up comes a list of available things to watch and just click on the title and you got it. Get to also watch the evening news from a major city 2000 miles away where I once spent a big part of my life. Considering several of these as gifts for family for the upcoming holidays.

Still the best player on the market. All others always playing catch up.

Great media player best for streamming does not play my saved media well.

I'm a cord cutter and it's important to me that I have access to Netflix, Hulu and other streaming "channels" on the Roku, I had chromecast but it was just such a pain to stream with my phone or my computer. I use an antenna for the over-the-air major networks but I use the Roku to get my streaming programs. I used velcro and stuck in on the back of my television.

I love my Roku 3 it is so easy to use and better than my Sony Smart TV for streaming. I am now doing a lot of streaming and plan on getting 2 more Roku for my other TVs that are not smart TVs. Also if go into Amazon Prime (I have an account) to stream through my Smart TV I get a lot of buffering but I do not if I go in through my Roku 3.
