Soooo many channels

The Roku has so many more channels available to watch for free. Lots of "old" cartoons, shows and movie channels, which I enjoy, but also would be great for kids and the elderly. The remote has a place to plug in headphones which is great watching tv in bed and not disturbing my husband.

It freezes at times and you have to unplug and start over or remove batteries and put them back in. This doesn't happen often on Roku 3 but does on the Roku stick which I also have. Would like the Roku 3 to have a standby button and not just go into screen saver when not using. Do not want to continually unplug.

Allows HD channel access without using a cable box

It permits me to receive HD channels on my office TV without having to purchase an additional cable box. The cost difference between the Roku 2 and 3 is minor and the Head phone option with the Roku 3 was the clincher for me. The device will pay for itself within the year.
