The Roku three works much better that's streaming sticks

I've had it for a week now, no problems what so ever....

Love my Roku! The voice search feature is very useful!

I purchased my Roku about 6 months ago and had many problems with it initially. The first day I had it the remote didn't work, so I called customer service and spoke to someone who was probably in India and had difficulty understanding them, but finally got them to send me a new remote. The new one worked for a couple days and then it too failed. I called customer service again and was informed that this would be my last free call to them and after this the calls would be $10. Other than the remote I had many problems with the streaming cutting out in the middle of shows so often that I returned the device to Best Buy and they were kind enough to replace it even though it had been 6 months. The new one did the same thing, so I decided to have my cable provider give me a new modem. It turns out that was the problem all along. The installer said our modem was not compatible with Roku and gave us a new one which fixed the streaming cutting out problem. Unfortunately, the new (third) remote stopped working too. Luckily I have an app on my phone and tablet that actually does work. So, aside from the lousy customer service and remote issues, I am satisfied with the Roku now.

Love our,Roku. This is so easy to set up and convenient to take with us anywhere. A must have.

I absolutely love my roku 3! The list of channels available is huge. Before buying, I couldn't decide if I wanted to get the 2 or 3. I did some comparing online & the main difference was the remote. I couldn't decide if I really wanted to pay $30 extra for different remote features but I'm so glad I did! The voice search is so awesome! It searches all of the installed channels/apps as opposed to having to manually go into each different one hoping that they have whatever show/movie that you're looking for. I have already recommended this product to family & friends!

Wanted several streaming channels for home theater project. Options on bluray player were limited. Sooo many of the channels our family would actually want to stream. Reliable streaming without buffering. Great purchase. So impressed purchased two units.

Great source of low price tv with other premium options

I already had a older version of this Roku. I like the addition of the shortcut buttons on the remote. I much prefer the Roku over a Chromecast for function and ease of use, very much worth the extra cost.

I like the idea of this product. Be prepared pay for some of the chanels after a short trial.

We cut the satellite cord, and the Roku was an important part of it. Setup was extremely easy and its performance on wifi is excellent. The confusing part is sorting thru all the streaming channels (Amazon, Hulu, etc... you don't realize how many there are and how they can overlap ) But the Roku? Easy and recommended. When atmospheric conditions mess with the digital antenna, Roku and online content is clear.

Roku 3 is an excellent product. It would be easier if you could see all available programming in one place to select from the various apps to stream from. I prefer it over Google Chromecast because one can access SlingTV which is a good alternative to basic cable. Chromecast doesn't have that option. Definitely a good buy.

The wireless LAN adapter quit working on my Samsung tv. This has been a great replacement.
