I just want to stream Netflix although the Roku streams others. I have no complaint about streaming Netflix offerings. The television can also stream Netflix, but I opted for a separate streaming player. I might want to upgrade the streaming player long before I need to change the television.

I got a roku from my bf a while back when he got himself a apple tv. At first I thought his was cooler cause he could just stream stuff from his phone and stuff but I've been able to do some many more things with a roku than stream from my phone. My bf ended up getting a roku recently.

I bought this Roku to watch sporting events on ESPN and movies on Netflix. I didn't realize how many other channels were available for free with this product. I am very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend the Roku3.

I have had 2 other Roku 3 players already and love them. I tried the Roku stick but didn't get the same signal strength and returned it. I ended up buying my 3rd Roku 3 player and haven't looked back since. It's a wonderful product and has kept everyone in the family fully satisfied!

Bought this Roku device so I could start streaming programs from Netflix. I was using a blue ray player to do this, but it was extremely slow and cumbersome. The Roku unit fits all of my needs! I like the portability of the unit as well, can carry it from my Northern to Southern home.

Roku is a great device. Better than Apple TV. ATV is all pay TV, so spend $70 to get more options to pay. At least there are lots of free channel options on Roku! Plus the pay options you want, netflix, hulu, sling, showtime, HBO. My only complaint is that it stops and needs to reboot if you use ff/rew too much. Also the roku remote on my iPhone works only sometimes....

This is a great way to watch what you want and save on cable or satelite bills. Given what you subscribe to you can save a bundle. I'm saving 60% by getting rid Satelite and getting the roku. Don't walk run and start saving.

It was as I expected and work well enough to be recommended to others

I was looking for something to make my tv smart and be easy to use for my husband. It is all that and more. I tried using the voice command but it did not seem to work that well for me. Maybe I don't speak clearly enough. Anyway, I had this a week and someone broke into my house and stole the remote (and all my tv's) not the roku 3 just the remote so now it is unusable.

Lot of set up time but worth it. Lots of apps and fairly easy to use.

This is the third Roku in our home. This one was purchased to compensate for the very poor wireless capability of our "smart" TV. The Roku's wireless connection and streaming capability are great. The addition of a Netflix button on the remote control is a very convenient upgrade.

The Roku 3 is better than I expected. I have been using AppleTV for the last 3-4 years and I now feel the Roku 3 is a better overall product. Im very happy that I made the switch

ROKU will work all over the world; however, it is currently marketed only in the US, UK, Canada and Ireland. Although most channels may work outside the US, UK, Canada and Ireland, premium channels like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu Plus and others currently may restrict access from geographies outside these countries. Do not worry, Roku is growing and has announced plans to expand to other countries. Also we keep adding more channels to make our Customers (for both marketed & outside Roku Users) streaming experience more enjoyable. Love Roku 3. Stream from my phone, use Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and lots of small channels streaming older shows. Simple to use, works well, good remote; what'd not to love.

Simple, Terrific, Media Streaming Device with lots and lots and lots of apps available! I recommend one of these to my less than tech savvy friends.

It works fine, easy setup but remote burns through batteries and remote app in iPhone loses signal constantly. Live and die by ur wifi signal, this unit does nothing to boost or enhance a lousy signal. No better than basic Roku I had before. First one, the pin broke off after first day.

HP always delivers great products, but the Spectre 2-in-1 laptop is one of the best I've laid hands on. It's lightweight and the graphics are incredible. The only 2 issues I've had is that the mouse pad is a little too touchy and the Explorer Edge likes to freeze up at times.

great product .. I can do without the voice option. Lots of free private channels . This is great if you are thinking about cutting cable and if you don't watch live channels. Also there is lots of options to buy live TV . I am still getting to know my Ruku but so far I LOVE IT!

My teenager loved her gift. It is easy to use and so convenient.
