By far my favorite streaming device! I purchased this and got rid of cable completely saving me almost $80 per month! The wide selection of apps allows you to watch anything you want on TV, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

I bought this to replace the streaming that I was using through my blu-ray player. The Roku works really well, with no buffering when watching Netflix movies or YouTube videos. I am very happy with my purchase.

I've found that using the PLEX channel I can stream videos, movies or photos from any of my computers or devices. I've added around 25 channels from the Roku channel site and several more "private" channels I found using Google searches. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I live in an area that does not have access to satellite of cable because of mountains. it connected easily to our modem through wi fi. no skips or lags while watching Netflix or other channels. Works Great!

This roku is very easy to set up and streams with no issues.

This is my first attempt at streaming movies and shows. I think that the system allows you to do that either for free with comercials or pay and you will not get comercials. I have only had it a week so i am still exploring my options, but I am glad I bought the item.

I am able to access my Netflix, Amazon Prime video, and watch the higher numbered channels for cable in HD. The battery life for the remote is about one week with daily extended use. I love the ear bud function

This device was so easy to hook up and use. I love that I can use the headphones at night when everyone is sleeping. So far my streaming has been flawless.

I have a roku stick that occasionally hung. This one has more power and I love that I can connect an Ethernet cable to it! Love it. No complaints.

it's a Roku 3, (very fast streaming device)-- if you feel like spending a little extra money for the added features on the remote control ( like me ) get this one , or get a cheaper version- roku 2 ---but if you're looking for a streaming device , I recommend a Roku.

I was already a Netflix and Amazon Prime member so I get free movies and most channels let you watch their shows after they air it. As long as you don't care about watching everything late, you get free tv.

The voice search is excellent, and I love the "My Feed" option. You add your favorite movies or TV programs to "My Feed" and it lets you know on which channels those shows are available (and how much they cost). It would be fantastic if the search included Netflix, but I understand that it was the decision of Netflix not to participate in that. Shame. I also like the remote We calculate that by using Roku and subscribing to Netflix, Hulu, and the rotation of HBO or Showtime during certain seasons, we won't be missing much of our favorite shows, and we'll be saving over $100 a month.

Planned to upgrade to a Roku 4 for my birthday but reviews were awful and I don't have a UHD TV yet so I bought an updated Roku 3 with Voice Search and gave my previous Roku 3 to my niece since her Samsung BluRay was freezing up streaming Netflix and other apps. New version has a few more new apps and functions, voice search is okay, surprised how much I miss the wrist strap on the remote. Makes a secondary Time Warner Cable box using their app which pays for itself.
