The Roku - 3 Streaming Player was easy to set up and does all that was advertised to do. It has a great apps for streaming movies and TV that are easy to search and download, some (Netflix's) come per-installed.

We love our Roku! In our city the only tv providers are two satellite companies, and it cost a small fortune to have it. The Roku is a much better option than have to pay hundreds of dollars for satellite. We've cut our bill in half and haven't looked back.

This product far exceeds what I expected for a cable application via wifi, speedy and easy to use, this is my fourth one. Don't pay cable for their junk!

Worked perfectly for about a week. Then experienced loss of audio,video cut in and out. Called ROKU customer service, and problem was resolved by unplugging and replugging unit. DUH! Today, the following day I experienced the same issue. Solution the same. SOOOO, I'm rather disappointed that I have to do this every time I use it. If it should continue I'll have to waste time calling customer service to see if they'll replace it. Otherwise it works great and would have gotten a higher rating. I also have a 2016 version of the ROKU STICK on my bedroom tv. It's awesome! Recent cable cutter. Saving $ 80 a month with sling and Netflix with local off air through a amplified multidirectional Terk ant. Can't believe I waited so long.

many channels above and beyond my apple tv....a lot to explore and when you register your roku you get recommendations of new channels and helpful instructional info! Im pleased with the buy although I am partial to my Apple Tv mostly for music and videos!

I have it all... Amazon Player, Nexus Player, WD Player, etc... this is by FAR the one I use the most. Just one thing I wish they would do... allow you to use a USB or BT keyboard... Dozens of amazing channels, hundreds of great channels and 1000s of channels.

Present for someone that does not have cable. Works great

This is the 5th Roku in the house, the only one that does HiDef. Yes, it does make a difference and gives a better picture. For the smaller TV's I didn't care, but for the behemoth, it was worth it, even though we also had to get an HDMI multi port to use it.

This is wonderful if you don't have a PlayStation or another means of accessing the internet from your TV. However, make sure you read the fine print. Almost ever channel requires a subscription. So if you wanted to use this to get rid of cable think again!

I had been using my old Xbox as my streaming device but was constantly fighting with buffering. Since buying my Roku I have not buffered once and I love the speed in which apps load (Amazon Prime and Netflix). Speed and no buffering earns this 5 stars!!!

I own an Xbox One, Xbox 360 and a PS4 but wanted a streaming device for the old flat screen in my bedroom. The Wifi antenna on the Roku 3 works amazingly well. It also has the widest range of streaming apps on one device. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

Fast and intuitive. I just wish it had HBO NOW already.

I have a Samsung Smart TV but wanted live channels and something more up to date. I got that and much more with this box. It has lghtning fast menu navigation, rich content offerings, plus, having the headset integrating into the remote was the "fifth star".

Cutting the cable on TV, I talked with friends that were using various techniques streaming content from the web. ROKU was mentioned several times. After some on line research, I determined that the ROKU 3 was what I needed. Now we use a digital free air antenna for some local channels and ROKU to watch Netflix, HULU and Showtime. Much cheeper than ATT internet and cable. We use Charter internet for streaming. Saving money without sacrificing quality.

I love the Roku 3, and what makes it so great is the remote. It's a point anywhere remote and you can search for channels and programs using your voice.
