Prefer this device to other similar products I have been using for the past 5 years. Loved it enough to buy a second one - we ruin one by wrote and one by Wi-Fi and have no problems with either one.

recommend to all who doesn't have a smart tv and like to screen mirroring on their phone. this is perfect for it.

I owned a Roku box 2 for about 5 years now and decided to get a new one to replace the Apple TV box in the master bedroom. I am quite pleased with this new Roku. My favorite upgrade was the plug in headphones, I had a wireless headphone that I used to listen to while everyone was in bed. This headphone is amazing I get no static like my other headphones, and the I-phone use as a remote is awesome as well as the speak search, very happy with this new Roku!

We have returned to antenna TV and love using Roku to view the shows we like when it is convenient for us. Access to movies and other subscription channels that we are interested in is important to us.

if you currently have the original roku 3 theres really no reason why to upgrade to the latest roku. but i still upgraded because i have owned rokus all my life and have them in all the rooms in my home

I bought the Roku 3 so that my wife can watch her favorite shows. The setup was easy and I love the ear buds that connect to the remote control for private listening. My daughter wants one now. :-)

The good -remote, ethernet,usb port. The bad -all other wireless gadjets goes to crawl when roku is pluged in. Unplug and everything goes to normal. That happens even when not streaming. I love it anyway.

Since i purchased this for my parents, they have been using it almost daily or weekly. They love movies and this is a great alternative instead of spending a few dollars going to the movie theater.

Buy it! its great. I wish I would have done it years ago. Have three in every room. No commercials and watch what you want. The set up went smoothly and the remote is far better than those for Roku 2.

the manual is incomplete and not very clear and it's hard to operate for someone who doesn't have the knowledge for these things. There are too many channels to require subscription to view the TV movies

Works great for screen mirroring from my pc & smart phone, and has ear phone plug on the remote thats cool, But you have to subscribe to get lots of programming, I thought there would be more stuff for free.

I have the Roku 1 and was very happy with it until my son-in-law got Roku 3 and I had to go get it right away. Now there are 2 Roku's in my house.

Cable TV....what a waste after discovering the The Roku 3. I can watch all my favorite shows through the Hulu Plus channel, and listen to great music via Pandora. Set up was quick and hassle free!

Considering all the offerings out there including Apple-TV the Roku3 still beats them all in channels. Also, the Roku3 menu and user interface is still the best for customization and simplicity.

Had to be talked into buying, but we are glad for the purchase. Took a bit to get thru the learning curve. A grandson help with that. We are still finding new things every time we turn it on.

The Roku 3 is so easy to use and very portable. After I configure it at home I can take it to me when I am at other houses and such. All I have to do is create a new Wireless connection and I have all the same service as at home. I have not yet had any issues with any of the Roku devices I own. I have 4 Roku 3's and 1 Roku 1 for those times when there is a TV that does not have HDMI.. Crazy but I have actually run into one of those just this week.

I have tried all 3 roku models and the 3 is the best. I recommend plugging the ethernet cable direct instead of wireless. I have no glitches or buffering like the others that are only wireless.

I am very satisfied with my Rok 3. I can stream movie to watch when I want. I was able to cancel Comcast which was a huge savings. Very happy.

Bought this Roku3 to get the Time Warner app in my bedroom. It is stable on all streaming channels I use. My only real complaint is if your TV doesnt have sound (Im using a spare PC monitor currently) this model has no sound connection like the older versions did. I can only hear by way of the remote, which drains that battery faster. Also, it should go into sleep / screensaver mode every 2-3 hrs depending on the stream watched but often just blackens the screen. If you click home or OK twice, it wakes back up. Just a small annoyance and easily fixed.
