I cut the cable and purchase the roku and I could not be more happy. I am still new at it but I have not yet miss the cable. I found some great streaming channels and netflix is great.

I'm very satisfied with my Roku 3. While it takes my smart TV and Blu-Ray player over half a minute to get to the Netflix menu, it takes seconds on my Roku. Streaming is flawless.

It streams very smooth. There's no off button. It just stays in stanby mode. If you go longer than a week without using it, the remote will need to be re synced. Other than that, perfect.

went wireless for tv viewing, cutting out the cable bill saves me a bundle. Without my Roku, I'd still be shoveling out ridic $ for stupid overpriced cable that I don't need 95% of.

I have really enjoyed this machine. It is part of my vision to cut out cable and so far has been working well. The only problem is that is it hard to get live TV like baseball games.

So much faster than my old Roku 1. Easy to set-up and use.

I am loving my Roku. A sweet little gem of a streaming player. I use it along with PLEX Media Server mostly. a pretty darn good combo.

This is an excellent product to stream movies but I wished it had support to stream my Note 4 screen. As of the moment I am writting tis review, Roku does not support the Galaxy Note 4

This device is excellent for streaming videos from various apps. My favorite part is that I can use it as a "second cable box" and stream live cable TV via the time warner cable app

This was actually my fifth Roku I have bought. We have one for every tv in are house, they are a perfect way to still watch all the tv you want but not have the high cable bill.

I've had experience with Apple TV, google chrome cast, Amazon Fire stick and the netgear streamer and the Roku still blows them all out of the water. It's reliable and easy to use

This is my second one. I love these great investment I am slowly getting rid of my cable boxes. They have so many options, hook up in five minutes very simple. The remote is great and the headphone jack is a bonus for listening in private in not disturbing anyone else. You can add more channels than you will ever need and watch whole seasons. It pauses and if you shut it down it will resume where you left off.

I like my Roku 3 because it works well, it's fast, and quiet. I'm watch Amazon, YouTube, Smithsonian, ORA, and a couple others. The picture quality is BETTER than through cable because Roku gives you a true 1080p. When I was watching the Olympics, I was just mesmerized at how crystal clear it was (not to mention the hot bodies!!!).

Works much faster than the Roku 2. I also like the wired LAN option for even faster speeds.

I got this for my dad for xmas and he loves it! I was quite impressed with it myself. TONS of channels and even ones you recognize. For some you still need a basic cable sub to get access to, but otherwise there is something always on!

Definitely serves its purpose and the controller with the option to have headphones is a plus. However, If you want something cheaper that is still really good, go with Google chrome.

Needed an additional Roku box for second TV so went with Roku 3 this time. The ability to manage multiple Netflix profiles has been the most noticed improvement over the Roku 2.

We love our Roku! We are all addicted to it. This does what it needs to do and is SO much better than cable. We are definitely enjoying it as well as a MUCH lower cable bill.

I have owned this roku 3 for a while and am still happy with it. I haven't bothered getting a later model. I believe the roku 4 can handle 4k streaming, but I don't have any 4k tvs at this point. I very rarely have any issues. Occasionally, navigating through the menus would be laggy and I'd restart the roku and it would then work fine again. And, obviously, the roku has so many apps on it. I do wish they would work out a deal to get cinemax on there (max go, I think it's called).

Roku does everything it said it would do. The only thing I noticed (and I think is unavoidable) is the delay while your selection loads - even between clips as it cycles. I bought a second one from a friend who returned to satellite.
