Easy to install & set up. No need for another remote, this one does it all. Happy with the earphone option. Great if one of us is trying to sleep & the other still watching TV. Very happy with purchase. Would recommend.

I purchased to be able access my Plex server on my family room TV. Everything works perfectly. Setup was easy. We often use the Roku channels more than our regular TV.

I was looking for a way to ditch expensive cable packages. The roku 3 has a lot of channels that can be bought separately, so basically you pay for what you want, period. That's the best part of the roku, in my opinion. It general it works great. The only disappointment I have is how limited the media player is on roku. It does play a few specific formats, but you can't expect a lot of formats to just work. I'll probably find something else to replace my ps3 for a media player. I definitely recommend this for anyone sick of expensive cable that doesn't care about live cable network news and endless reality series on expensive cable setups.

Easy to use, just get Hdmi cord to hook up to hdtv and device and no need to get headache to hook up internet cable at all, it's wifi ready built in. Cool. Then u are good to go and enjoy whatever u want to do. Enjoy !

My old Apple TV was getting a little slow. So I decided to swap out with a Roku 3 instead. Overall, I'm quite happy with it. I like the fact that it doesn't favor one platform over another and remains neutral towards your streaming video choices. Pros: Obviously, the price is great which is what sways most people. The built-in headphone jack in the remote is quite handy and the non-directional remote is very useful. Very small footprint so you can place it anywhere including mounting on your TV if it's a wall mount. Cons: The menu look and selection is not quite as slick as Apple TV's. Sometimes videos take a while to buffer and are low-res & fuzzy until the internal buffer builds up. Not a big deal. But I always liked that about the Apple TV - it would pause the video until a quality stream could be maintained. The Roku always stays on and cannot be turned off unless you unplug it. They claim this is so it can download updates continuously. Again, not a big deal. But I would prefer a power off option. Also, I think it could benefit from a slightly more powerful chipset.

got tired of navigating through byzantine playstation screens to get to netflix, amazon, hulu vids - the Roku set up in 10 minutes ( for initial logins to the services)and has been seamless 1 button connect ever since

The Roku is the best streamer available. It has more channels than any other streaming device and the speed of the new Roku is great along with the voice search.

Easy to setup, fast reliable, the voice search on the remote is awesome and the headphone jack is very handy.

After a recent move we made the decision to cut ties with cable and satellite. After looking around the Roku seemed a good investment. I've been extremely happy with this device and all its features. I'm still learning all that it can do but so far the monthly savings have made this a definite winner for me. The unit has access to thousands of apps for streaming audio and video. We currently use it with a few subscription services like Hulu and Netflix and even with the subscriptions costs our monthly bill is almost nothing compared to when we had satellite TV.

There are a few devices out there to choose from. My recommendation is you MUST speak with a Best Buy sales person or do the research before you purchase as not all streaming devices can offer you the same apps. For myself I needed to add a streaming device to a new TV so that we could watch Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. Netflix is available on all devices but Amazon Prime video is not (not on Apple TV). Google Chromecast- what a pain multiple steps needed to do simple streaming. Amazon has the fire stick but again you can not compare the Apps available to the Roku and most important the Roku has the fastest processor which is so important when streaming content. I found Roku to be the device that was the most universal and easy to install be aware you will need an HDMI cable which does not come with it.

I love this Roku. Now I can watch Netflix and other programs on a separate TV when my husband is watching the main on. Easy to install and use. Also has access to all the internet access movies.

The roku was a slam dunk purchase. It's easy to setup and uses the video streaming is excellent. I'm gladi purchase the roku 3 with the headphone jack built into the remote for private listening.

The Rogue 3 is a very good product. I love the headphone feature as I can listen to the audio output through the remote and not disturb anyone. East setup,great picture,very little buffering.

Love my new Roku 3! I bought two of them, and love them! I can get all sorts of free channels, plus the paid channels are much cheaper than cable - and I can choose which ones I want. None of this bundling stuff, where I have to pay for a bunch of channels that I don't even watch. There are some good paid channels as well. My only complaint is the lack of local channels - mostly news - to keep up on what's happening. But some news stations are making Roku channels, so the one in your area may have one - or, you can just get an antenna.

Got it to try and get off cable. It is amazing. with all the apps you can watch whatever you want. Great user interface. Love how you can link your computer screen to your tv without wires.

Great purchase , fast , reliable and very ease to use. Love it , streaming NETFLIX , Pandora and many others apps.is awesome with this Divice even with a slow internet connection. Great Job.

tiny little box does everything i need a streaming device to do. Currently using with Plex to stream from a personal NAS. Easy to setup. Definitely use wired Ethernet for Plex streaming.

I got the Roku for Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, it was simple to install and get connected to my Wifi. Works like a charm, Some issues with “HDCP unauthorised. Content disabled" errors which are solved by turning the Roku off and then back on.

The Roku works great. Easy to set up and easy to access. Remote is easy to use and to get to channels. Have not used the ear phones yet.

Great player plays everything I need. Easy setup. Really love the headphone ability when wife falls asleep next me on couch; I can still watch whatever I want! Don't have to be quiet.
