Be prepared to invest some serious time setting up channels and finding ones that don't require a subscription. The Roku is handy and like the voice search but storing favorite shows and being able to just jump back to the last episode you watched is not the most user friendly or quick process. If your buffer speed is slow it is painful beyond measure trying to watch anything. That said, it isn't a bad device for a tv in a kids or guest room.

I cut the cord to my satellite dish and bought the Roku along with an amplified antenna. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The Roku is super easy to set up, responds quickly, has an easy to use menu and simple remote. all of those things paired with the mobile app make it an excellent replacement, i don't even miss my old tv system.

Running at 5Ghz there is no interference & it takes full advantage of 200MB download bandwidth. Buffering over wifi is a thing of the past.

This device works well for streaming video. The App buttons are super convenient to use. Sometimes the device freezes but it could be my Internet speed. I haven't tried the voice remote.

The Roku 3 is a great way to access online content from a variety of providers. It is easy to set up and offers a very good interface.

The Roku 3 was an upgrade from a previous model I had. I decided to get it instead of the 4 since the only major difference right now was 4K and a lot of money and I don't have any 4K electronics right now. It's fast, connected to the wifi easily, and doesn't drop out much other than one channel which I think has to do more with the channel's connections, not mine. If you have an older model, this is a good one to upgrade to.

Best ever, after it setup. Love it, especially the search feature. Never experienced where to view what I was looking could be so easy.

I purchased the Roku 3 after reading tons of reviews. I had just purchased a Smart TV and the darn thing ran awfully slow. Hooked this bad boy up to it and it worked great! I enjoy the voice feature and appreciate the how fast it is when I'm browsing the menu. I really enjoy both the Sling TV and Hulu apps. I am very happy with my purchase!

The device is fine over all. Minor issues with the remote not being responsive at times, is my biggest complaint. Service is good as well, though a better list of channels would be nice.

For $49.99 at time of purchase, could not pass up the deal. Has all the same functionality as Roku Stick (2016) with the addition of the private listening remote (which the Stick can only accomplish via usage of an app on a smartphone). Also has the USB port so that content on removable media (e.g. thumb drive) could be viewed.

We are very happy with Roku. We finally got rid of cable and are very satisfied with Roku and the ability to stream movies and shows.
