For those who only want a simple player with a simple interface (that's me), this is the perfect player. No unwanted/annoying ads or a barrage of "promos" being displayed while trying to use the device. You simply choose the service you want and you're on your way. I've used with the Sling TV service and Netflix. No issues at all. Just be mindful that the default setting is 720p. I failed to change to 1080p at first and thought the picture didn't look as clear as it could. Once I changed to 1080p, everything was crystal clear on my Sharp plasma (too bad the tech lost out to LCD) tv.

Roku continues with it's fine line of products. Roku 3 is fast and easy, connect cabled or wirelessly, and has a multitude of available apps. Highly recommended.

Simple setup. Took a while to get all the apps on the hard drive, but otherwise, works great. I like the fact that it plays most formats on the media player

Owning an Apple TV, PS3 and Xbox 360 I can safely say this is the best streamer I have used for my TV. The best feature is the universal voice search that works impressively well! I love that I can search across Amazon Prime and Netflix at the same time for shows.

Does everything expected. Good choice, easy to use, lots of apps. Supports TWC app allowing you to get rid of those stupid boxes. Like the voice search.

Amazing device, gets more apps than we could ever possibly use :) Lightning fast. Love the way it shows movies on Netflix and youtube. Easy set up.

This ROKU 3 is my secondary streaming device, I also have an Apple TV and both have pluses and minuses. The biggest advantage the Roku has over Apple Tv is the content availability. There is definitely way more on the Roku however if you are committed to the Apple ecosystem, then the Apple TV is way better for you. My biggest complaint for the Roku is that its interface on my iPhone doesn't work as well as the one for the Apple Tv. Great over all, but the edge goes to Apple.

Simple to set-up, easy to operate, usually fast access my content. Finding the app to access my external USB drive took a little research, but once I got it setup, it's now a breeze to access my files.

I love my roku. It does all the things I need it to do and so much more! It has all the apps you need and is a great addition to my television.

My husband & I did the research (we already had an older Roku) and we were ready to purchase our 2nd Roku for the house. This one is the best yet! The shortcut buttons are up to date with services we actually use & everything runs smoothly. The only issue we've ever had (and this goes for all Roku devices we own) is with the remote being fickle about connecting with the device. Sometimes it just seems like the batteries are dead when they are not. Only complaint!

I am very happy with the Roku 3. Setup was easy and I really like the Headphone jack allowing me to enjoy the audio without disturbing others.

this roku 3 is great I uused my bluray to stream before and always had trouble I have not had a glitch with this roku since i hooked it up

I got this product to get 3ABN and similar channels and it works great. I have good Internet speed so no buffering or hitters, worries at all.

All the streaming services. Solid connectivity over WiFi or Ethernet. Easy interface to use. Rf remote leta device be tucked in behind TV.

The new Roku 3 is a great piece of hardware for someone looking to cut the cable cord. It's unobtrusive, but expandable with microSD and USB ports and an optional Ethernet port will give you a dedicated internet connection that won't slow down due to WiFi traffic. The remote is very nice, I loved the headphones. But if you travel, it is just on the border of being too big. Especially if you have the Roku, remote, power brick, headphones and HDMI cable and need to add a WiFi router to work around hotel landing pages. Ultimately for me, as a frequent traveller, the features didn't outweigh the weight/bulk over my Roku Streaming Stick. For home use this would be my first choice.

This unit was to replace a 6 year old model. It installed in 4 minutes and worked flawlessly. Kudos!

The Roku 3 is great easy to setup and work, has all your streaming channels, Netflix, Sling TV Etc.

Everything worked just as promised and advertised, only, set up was easy enough, the headphones feature is awesome, I cut the cable and I do not miss it. This Roku was instrumental on accomplishing the feat. Can't complain I do recommend it. One recommendation though, make it possible to watch local channels, those freely available via antenna!!!

I am very pleased with Roku 3. Much better than wasting money on cable packages. The interface is easy to use and the voice search is definitely a nice feature. The headphone functionality is very cool and quite useful. Also I like the fact that they replaced the one outdated shortcut button on the remote with something useful (Sling TV).
