    We purchased this Roku TV for our RV. We use it outdoors on a tripod when we are camping to watch the Dodger games! We love the Rokus for the simplicity. Just plug it in and connect to our WiFi. Done!

    Cannot set up for home cable without internet

    I purchased this due to good reviews and that even though it is a smart tv, I was supposed to be able to bypass WiFi and select hdmi and cable input only. Sorry, NO. I cannot get past the searching for a network screen when choosing home setup, so I cannot select the hdmi input for cable unless I go to “store demo” setup. When I do that, I was able to access my cable channels, but I have a 4” wide, purple, vertical “Roku TV” banner that alternates from the left side of the screen to the right. It’s only a 32” tv! I read the questions and answers about this, and thought it could be fixed. Sorry again, NO. I called Roku tech and was told I needed to have WiFi in order to get past the home setup option so I could choose the cable box input (hdmi). I don’t have WiFi. That was supposed to be the point of bypassing a WiFi connection to use this tv with a cable box. I’m so aggravated and I don’t know if I can return the tv because watching a Roku banner forever is just not what I paid for. Picture and sound are great, and it paired with my cable remote. I just have no way to get rid of the banner without resetting the tv and having WiFi, straight from Roku tech.

    I like everything about my Roku tv, except for the picture and sound. I’ve changed the picture quality several times, but I can’t find one that matches my expectations. Sound quality is the same. It’s hard to hear even when it’s turned up loud, and no, I don’t have hearing issues

    It's a fair TV. If you want to wall mount it, be very careful. Many wall mounting kits are not going to fit. The screw provisions on the set itself are M4 and very shallow - even Lowe's will not sell screws that fit this thing, and the chances that your mounting kit have them are slim. The TV does not come with its own screws. The Roku site does not even have the same model number listed, so you can't get the right screw depth info from them (of course, the doc in the package just directs you to the inadequate website). I had to hunt around for the right screws and do trial and error on the depth and use multiple washers to get a wall mount to work. Not ideal.

    I was looking for a smart TV for my 97-year-old mom of which a very nice young man told me that the Roku was one of the better smart TVs. Plus it had all the apps that I was looking for.

    I purchased a Roku TV and had it delivered.. it arrived that day. My son in law came over the next day to install it for me. When he set it up and turned it on, he found deep scratches on the screen and felt that it had been returned. I was so disappointed! He took it back to Best Buy and bought an Insignia TV for me. He set it up and I am very pleased with it. The experience could have been very difficult for me without his help.

    This Roku TV does not work well with Spectrum system or Direct TV. Otherwise, the colors are good not great, but just good.

    Picture is great but it disconnects from internet constantly & is extremely annoying. If it wasn’t so much trouble, I would return it!
