I thought I'd save a few bucks getting an open box in excellent condition, but the money i saved with the open box i ended up spending on a replacement roku remote since it was missing.

Having the Roku connected limits coord/plug requirements if you have limited space as well. One con for me was the lack of video settings on the roku homepage. You can edit brightness/backlight on each individual app inside Roku but Roku itself does not have that option besides a few standard brightness settings (all too bright forna dark room). The 4K is ok, but definitely not as clear as some the more expensive tvs with deeper blacks/colors but that is expected withba more affordable model.

This new TV replaced the same brand from a couple of years ago( per the Geek squad warranty). The older one worked well too, but a commercial for Apple TV wouldn't simply erase, despite calls and "fixes".

The remote that comes standard is also an upgrade, doesn't need direct line of sight to tv, has voice activation, and can plug in headphones. I have only had TCL's with Roku but this Roku TV seems like an upgrade.
