    The TV worked fine at first, and I’ve enjoyed having the Roku channel. However, 8 months later, I turn it on and it immediately goes off. Sometimes this happens three times in a row before I finally hit a scroll button which keeps it on, I’m disappointed because I’ve generally liked Roku TVs. I’m glad that this is just my bedroom tv and I don’t have a Roku for my living room.

    Purchased Feb. 2024. This week, TV does not go on. Did all the troubleshooting suggested. It was in a guest room so it was barely watched. Disappointed.

    You Get What You Pay For

    First thing out of the box was that the legs couldn't be screwed tightly into the TV. Many people have reported this problem. I solved it by using lots of washers so the screws wouldn't have to go as far into the TV. This TV has the worst sound. It is a tinny sound with no midrange and it has weak bass. There are several audio adjustments and I tried them all. I'm considering taking the TV back to Best Buy because the sound quality is so poor.

    This is the worst tv I have ever bought or seen the remote does not do its job I press the remote and you have to wait for the tv to come on then I press the volume button to turn the volume up or down and it will not do anything you have to wait and keep pressing the button and finally will do its job then all of a sudden the picture goes out then comes back on and they want you to press the source button which I do and nothing,so this tv is not worth the money.

    Not for a bedroom

    Might be fine in a living room or den, but for my intended use in a bedroom there were two deal breakers that led me to return it. First, it won't dim enough. Like a lot of tvs, it's crazy bright out of the box, but I assumed that could be fixed. I was wrong. Turn the picture, backlight, contrast, brightness, etc all as low as they go and . . . it's still way too bright. Second, the sound is awful. If you don't already have a soundbar, plan on adding one.

    It’s a good TV, but could have better black levels

    TV has a great interface and is fast, but the black levels are not great. In a dark room watching a movie/show that has dark scenes, the residual light artifacts and grayness is distracting.

    I have bought this product before in a bigger size and the screen started to tweaking showing statics or gray scale screen after about 3 years.. I bought another for my siblings a month ago and it started doing the same thing as my old one. I dont know what the cost of the defect. I cant return to best buy due to 30 day return policy. I have to go thru support with roku website which can be confusing to use. Product actually works great, when it is working. :(

    Subpar TV - There are better options

    This is a bare bones tv in the purest form of the word. The build quality is low, the picture quality is passable, and the sound quality is atrocious. ROKU took a big hit when TCL changed teams and the quality of their tv had to improve if they plan to sell them. I promise you that you can find another tv that is way better for the money spent. I ultimately returned for an LG ( who’s smart system is not the best)

    I will be returning this item. I set it up last night & the legs/tv stands are loose, either side they are attached to. I called today to see if it should be that way & was told to hold again for someone to send me replacement parts. After having been on hold & spoke to 3 different people at Best Buy, for over an hour & 18 min, when the 4th person finally picked up, she wanted me to start the process all over again. I told her never mind, I'll just return the tv & hung up. Ridiculous customer service!!!

    Worked less than 3 months

    My son bought this TV for my wife and I for Christmas. Great picture and sound. I loved it until the picture died before owning it for 3 months. I checked the reviews, and many people have had similar problems and then trouble trying to get it fixed or getting a replacement. That will be my next step. We will see how it goes. I would have never bought a Roku TV if i was the one making the purchase, and I would not recommend this one even if they gave me a replacement.

    Disasterous Purchase

    This was a disasterous purchase as there was no remote, instructions, batteries, or leg screws in the box. The only items in the box were the legs and TV. I called Best Buy and told them. They said go back to the store where you have to get the remote and instructions. When I was there they provided the remote and instructions and I asked them if there was anything else I needed and they said no. Then when I got home, I read the manual and saw that screws were also needed for the legs, and batteries were missing too. I called again and told Best Buy I was returning the TV.

    If I could give them less than one star, I would! Purchased this on June 17. It worked fine for a month. I came home from a trip and had to re-boot it several times, but it eventually started streaming again. Today, I returned from another trip, and could not reboot it after several attempts. I was surprised that I was no longer able to return or exchange. Customer service for ROKU was absolutely no help at all!

    It’s is bright and clear. The picture is not terrible by any means. The sound is poor quality. The feet are wobbly. I would return it but I waited too long.

      Next, begin streaming a show or movie, and while it's playing, press the star * button on your remote. Select Sound settings and navigate the options to adjust your sound modes, speech clarity, and volume modes. This should help you tailor the audio settings to your liking. We hope this helps!     Don’t buy this TV!

    It won’t stay connected to the internet. Everyone you turn it off, you have to cycle through the set up process, like you plugged it in for the first time. I’ve watched every you tube video on how to fix but it doesn’t. The software will not update no matter how many times you go through set up. Not sure what else to do. But it’s extremely annoying and a waste of money.

    Randomly turned itself on at least 5 times in the 72 hours we owned it. It would've been great if not for that major flaw. The best advice Roku tech support could give was to return it, so I did and got an Insignia Fire TV. Poor sound quality too, would definitely need a sound bar with it.
