Disappointing. There are better options.

The sound quality is absolutely awful (and I'm not an audiophile by any means.) Think bad speakerphone. (I know most people would solve this with a soundbar, but that's not an option for us.) Visual quality was strangely blurry & indistinct while still being overly "sharp" and "bright" even when we went through all the options for adjustment (and yes, we both have good vision.) Gave us both headaches after an hour (and we're not prone to those.) There are MUCH better options out there even for a budget TV. (In fact, we went with an Insignia for $100 less that out performs this TV by miles straight out of the box.) I wasn't expecting high end performance from a TV at this price point, but the Roku was still super disappointing.

Poor experience

We were told we could not obtain the sale price, three days after the purchase, without rescheduling the delivery date. Due to the handicap condition of the customer this was not an option. On the day of delivery, the Geek Squad canceled reporting the mount was not in stock.

Great TV, bad as a second monitor

However I bought it to use as a second monitor, and the input lag was quite noticeable. I actually ended up returning it. It would be a good TV, with a bad menu navigation.

Started out great…now bad

Now its not working! Picture starts out great then about 30 minutes, sometimes less, it starts jumping, blinking and blurry. Unable to watch. Bought it in August of 2024, lasted about 4 minths

Garbage tv

The older the content, the worse it looks. The upscaling is horrible and 4k does not look it at all. The speakers sound like they’re in a tin can (sort of a muffled, hallow sound). When I turn it on and start scrolling around, it will refresh and go back to where it started after 10 seconds. Sometimes the shows will quit in the middle and give errors. The bugs started after the lousy 15 day return period. Will not purchase a Roku tv ever again nor from Best Buy again.

Not for a bedroom

First, it won't dim enough. Like a lot of tvs, it's crazy bright out of the box, but I assumed that could be fixed. I was wrong. Turn the picture, backlight, contrast, brightness, etc all as low as they go and . . . it's still way too bright. Second, the sound is awful. If you don't already have a soundbar, plan on adding one.

You Get What You Pay For

Many people have reported this problem. I solved it by using lots of washers so the screws wouldn't have to go as far into the TV. This TV has the worst sound. It is a tinny sound with no midrange and it has weak bass. There are several audio adjustments and I tried them all. I'm considering taking the TV back to Best Buy because the sound quality is so poor.

NO BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY

SOME OF US ARE DISABLED AND REQUIRE THE USE OF BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES! THIS TV IS USELESS FOR MY NEUROLOGICAL/AUDIO DISABLITIES. NOT ONLY THAT, MY TV IS MOUNTED CLOSE TO THE CEILING AND MY UPSTAIRS NEIGHBORS WORK ALTERNATING SHIFTS AT THE HOSPITAL; I WOULD LIKE TO USE MY BLIETOOTH HEADPHONES SO I DONT DISTURB THEM DURING THE NIGHT. I PROMPTLY RETURNED THE TV!! ROKU, PUT BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY IN ALL YOUR TV'S. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE 43" ROKU TV SINCE IT HAS NO BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY. PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY IS SUBPAR IN MY OPINION.

Picture great, function not so much

It’s a good TV, but could have better black levels

In a dark room watching a movie/show that has dark scenes, the residual light artifacts and grayness is distracting.

However, 8 months later, I turn it on and it immediately goes off. Sometimes this happens three times in a row before I finally hit a scroll button which keeps it on, I’m disappointed because I’ve generally liked Roku TVs. I’m glad that this is just my bedroom tv and I don’t have a Roku for my living room.

Roku TV - horrible Best Buy customer service

I set it up last night & the legs/tv stands are loose, either side they are attached to. I called today to see if it should be that way & was told to hold again for someone to send me replacement parts. After having been on hold & spoke to 3 different people at Best Buy, for over an hour & 18 min, when the 4th person finally picked up, she wanted me to start the process all over again. I told her never mind, I'll just return the tv & hung up. Ridiculous customer service!!!

Subpar TV - There are better options

The build quality is low, the picture quality is passable, and the sound quality is atrocious. ROKU took a big hit when TCL changed teams and the quality of their tv had to improve if they plan to sell them. I promise you that you can find another tv that is way better for the money spent. I ultimately returned for an LG ( who’s smart system is not the best)

PITIFUL TELEVISION
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the worst tv I have ever bought or seen the remote does not do its job I press the remote and you have to wait for the tv to come on then I press the volume button to turn the volume up or down and it will not do anything you have to wait and keep pressing the button and finally will do its job then all of a sudden the picture goes out then comes back on and they want you to press the source button which I do and nothing,so this tv is not worth the money.
