However mine made an electrical sound whenever it was on. Just a constant humming/static sound. If you turn the brightness up, it got louder. If you tuned it down it got quieter but not silent. If you had a silent slideshow going or a movie was in a quiet spot, you could hear it easily from 10-15 feet away on the couch. Overall, the quality is not impressive and the audio doesn’t sound good either. This is a very entry level TV. Due to the electrical sound issue, Best Buy is supposed to pick it up and replace it with an LG.

Love the remote control because not too many buttons, easy to use. The only inconvenience is the sound, not powerful sound. You have to increase the volume very high to hear well.
