Purchased two of these. Turn my old LCD tv into a smart TV. Great user interface. Easy button for Disney + & Netflix. Like more than my Apple TV.

Easy Setup, tons of Services, got this for my parents to use, replacing an older apple tv. We were getting very frustrated with apples continued habit of claiming "your device is too old" to support a service or app it used to support. Had it with iPhone and their entire user environment. My parents were very nervous to switch from an apple product, while they've been very frustrated over the last couple of years with declining products and services, they are still used to the interface. Took them less than 10 minutes to get the hang of the Roku. Easy setup, easy install, and the hardest part was remembering the passwords for our various services. So far no complaints, also their surround sound system sounds noticeably better than the apple tv did with the same apps, so that's a bonus.

Works pretty well. Seems to allow for all my apps. Seems to be about as fast and easy to use as other devices.

Roku is so easy to install all you have to do is plug it in. it does the rest. I went with a basic less expensive version which serves its purpose but if you watch a lot of TV or movies I would spend a few more bucks and get the extra bells and whistles.

I love my new Roku. It's my second one. I actually prefer it over a Firestick. It is so simple and easy to navigate!

It was a breeze to install on the bottom of my TV. Even works with my old Roku's remote. I'm especially enjoying the free Roku holiday movies.

It's a Roku. Works like a Roku. I've had other Rokus, and this one is very similar. The software works the same as all the others. There is no power button on this one. Get one of the other better Roku players if you want to be able to turn the TV on and off with the Roku Remote.

For those wondering about this and shying away from streaming, the set up is SUPER easy!! I have one in each bedroom and living room. I bought 2 for my mom who lives in a rural areas. She has 15 Mbs top internet speed and they work beautifully!! She is not super techy, but she now knows how to use and re-set up her devices. AND we have saved so much $$ with Roku!! I have had mine for almost a year and have saved a TON of $$.

After trying out Orby TV "no risk" ( ended up costing me $200 for installation and first month fee) then trying AirTV which was never able to hook up because my TV didn't have the App to connect wireless, I then tried Roku-Express. Success, I have been enjoying it daily. I have added players too my other TV's and the cost is reasonable. Roku has a large array to choose from, even the new Disney+.

Much better than just the Amazon firestick. Only regret is I got the cheaper version without the volume control in the side. Works great though.

Bought a roku stick a while back for myself and recently bought this model as a gift for my grandparents. Its Very easy to set up. It updates itself automatically when you first install it. Really like the double sided stick strip it comes with so you can mount it on bottom of your television screen. Roku has good variety of free channel apps and movies as well as subscription apps like hulu, Netflix, prime, etc. Have not had any issues with its streaming. Very good purchase and saves you money if you want to opt out of subscription cable services.

The included HDMI cable was short. I previously had the Roku stick which didn't matter where it was placed. With this item you do have to make sure there is a clear line of view from remote to base to change channels. Overall not bad for the price.
