Posted .Hello! We appreciate you choosing our products and sharing your thoughts with us. Just to let you know, some devices come equipped with a Simple Remote. These lack TV controls (Power and Volume), so you must use your TV remote to control these functions. The current line of new Roku devices is limited to the Roku Express HD. In addition, in Roku model releases, the non-plus(+) models are generally equipped with a simple remote. However, if you wish to have functional access to your TV's power and volume buttons using the Roku remote, we recommend the Roku Voice remote. I was able to get multiple streaming channels that previously were lost to me due to the limitations of my tv

The Roku has so many features we were not intending to use or even knew about- VERY happy with it-

I have three Apple TVs and frankly, Roku does it better for WAY less money. I now have 5 Rokus of various levels and all are just perfect.

All you need is an HDMI connection and either a powered USB connection on your TV or a electrical socket near by.

The Roku interface is easy to setup and use. With only 2.4 ghz antenna, the streams were a little slow. I ordered a Roku Stick+ to replace this one and install Roku express in a room closer to router. Better signal improved speed of menu and picture of streams.
