Posted .Hello Michael, thank you for letting us know. Some channels cannot show 1080p resolution because the provider doesn't offer it. This might be due to limits in their content, technical issues, or a choice to use lower resolutions for better compatibility with different devices and internet speeds. If they have not encoded their videos in 1080p, the Roku will display them at a lower resolution. The device is simple to install. I hope it has a long endurance which would be worth the price!

We have access to hundreds of channels. The quality of the Roku and the image is superb. This is our second Player and we also have a Roku TV.

The airplay won’t work if there’s a Roku app for what I’m trying to play, but those work fine so that is only a minor inconvenience. For the price I really can’t complain.

I was upset to learn when setting it up that a credit or debit card of some kind is required to use it, even if you don't plan on purchasing anything within the interface. Not fun for anyone who doesn't have a bank account.
