My son suggested that i purchase this, after i told him how much i liked my Smart TV. But my other TV was not. I knew about ROKU. but thought it was a subscription service. Only to find out it does the same thing as my Laptop which i was using to stream. Roku is better and easier to use.

HD roku

My husbands mentally and physically handicapped aister still needed something to watch. With the roku we were able to get the roku channel that has many channels for her to watch, and the ability to block things so she doesn't order anything by accident. It has been a very nice addition to our home entertainment needs.

Great for older TVs

Brought new life to out 1080p 55" Samsung TV now I can use all my streaming subscriptions on that TV with this especially my Funimation and Crunchroll :)

Wifi Capability Not the Best

Granted, I do have 7+ devices connected to my WiFi with 400 Mbps but none of my other devices have issues with keeping connecion. This roku takes 20 minutes to find a connection. I did a factory reset and nothing happened. The Wifi router is literally outside my room and yet the connection fails everytime.

Easy To Install and What a Savings

We will save about $36 a month in box rental fees. They will work on smart TVs as well as older TVs that are not smart. They were easy to install and are user friendly. I only wish we knew about these earlier to install on our televisions.
