I probably should have gotten the next upgrade that has the voice control. But I‘ll make it work!! Delivery services were smooth.

These lack TV controls (Power and Volume), so you must use your TV remote to control these functions. The current line of new Roku devices is limited to the Roku Express HD. In addition, in Roku model releases, the non-plus(+) models are generally equipped with a simple remote. However, if you wish to have functional access to your TV's power and volume buttons using the Roku remote, we recommend the Roku Voice remote.
