They are easy and convenient to install and use. I had to upgrade to a newer version only because the older ones didn’t have all the newer apps I needed. A great product at a great price!

Great Streaming Player

I am able access more streaming services to watch movies for free. The Roku is small and easy to set up. I like that it does not take up much space and is very fast to stream shows with no lag or choppiness. The price is great too as it was the cheapest available one in my area to pick up from Best Buy, compared to the more expensive models. This one is perfect for basic / light use to stream movies and TV shows.

Might need power adapter

If your tv does not have a USB connection the guide says to use a power adapter like your phone has for power. I still had to use my phone adapter because I got a message that my USB connection isn’t providing enough power.

As a quick fix, we recommend using an adapter with a power output of 5 Volts and 1 Amp (1000 mA) or a regular phone charger adaptor and plugging it into a wall outlet. Connecting to a wall outlet has the added advantage of ensuring that your Roku streaming player doesn’t need to power up each time you turn on your TV. This was an inexpensive replacement that worked great on an Insignia TV. You don't need a lot of bells and whistles to stream LOTS of channels!

Some of those were not updating any longer. This has simplified things. It's so small!
