It definitely saved me lots of money because I had cable before. I wish that I knew about this device sooner. You won't be disappointed. I have two so far and I am going to order another one.

But there are scammers out there who want to dope you into paying an activation charge. The Roku app mentions specifically in the help section, that there should be no charge to activate a Roku device.

Forget renting a cable box.

I now have 2 and plan on buying another. Save the $10/month cable box fee, pays for itself in 2 to 3 months.

Love Roku

Sent the boxes back and now use the Roku. Works beautifully!

We decided to try streaming instead of cable and so far we have been very happy. Roku works great and is easy to set up. We wanted access to live TV so we decided to use YouTube TV. Roku also has a lot of options.

Kept pausing and searching or say can't continue program. Family room is furthest from wifi. So went to get another. I knew that newer sticks were better and all, but family members recommended Roku. Fire stick in living room is newer but slow to connect. This ROKU is instant and goes to home page very fast. This is very worth getting. Cost about same as new fire stick. We love this and no pauses while watching shows. Highly recommend.

It was pretty easy to install and get working. I love the Netflix and Disney+ buttons. She saw how easy it is to work it so we are both very happy.

I have actually eliminated 4 cable boxes and I am saving about $40.00 per month using my existing WIFI for streaming.

It works really well, allows me to use all my streaming services. It's not lightning fast but it doesn't lag either. Just keep in mind, like the listing says, no TV controls so you can't adjust the volume with the roku remote. Installation is easy, BUT the device is powered through USB and ONLY comes with the cable. So unless you have USB ports on your outlets, you'll need a USB power block like a phone charger.

The power adapter was removed from the 2022 Roku Express because the player is low power enough to be powered by nearly any TV via the TV's USB port. The amount of free stuff is astounding. I like the old comedys like Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan's Island, Bewitched etc. It's nice to just watch for fun with no political or PC stuff.

I love it and it made my dumb tv into a smart one.
