And sometimes, SmartTVs have terrible processors in them that make the apps run all slow and choppy. This thing runs snappy And especially if you have a cable service like Spectrum, they have apps for Roku, so this device can basically provide the function of a cable box that you have to pay the cable company about $7-$10 every month just to rent. Drop the cable box, and get a Roku.

Found it easy to configure for her old settings and she is excited not to have to reboot it daily.
