Shady Setup but Good Relacement for Older Rokus

The only drawback was being forced to create a new Roku account, and also being forced to put in a credit / debit card in the new Roku account "just in case you want to make purchases". Nah... that's really lame and shady to have to force that! Especially when it's going to be used exclusively to watch older shows (for a parent) instead of new releases on subscription services. It is nice that it will support subscription services, just forcing the card during setup is super janky. Otherwise, this replaced an older Roku that was giving me bad network and performance playback issues. The old one supported only "G" networks. This one supports wireless A+N. After I joined this one to my network it hasn't dropped any frames or audio at all. It has excellent wireless support and video processing capabilities for its size.

Enjoying the Roku

Must be purchased also like Peacock you get some free, but to get the good stuff you have to purchase. I love it for the many free Christian choices although I'm not sure I understand why for ever channel you watch you must set up email and password, but that's ok for all the privilege of the free channels. Glad we made the Roku choice. We bought the basic read the reviews for the more expensive did not read anything that made it more appealing for more money.
