Roku streaming device works well

This is also the first time she has had a digital device for TV. Apparently some Roku devices had been hacked. As soon as she plugged it in and went through the sequence to start her service, she received a phone call and said she needed to pay $80 for an IP address. Unfortunately she paid it before asking me. We already had the service set up through Xfinity at a cheaper rate than what they offer. An Xfinity technician was there to help and found out that the call did not come from Roku. Well after everything was finalized with the help of Xfinity, the device works great. Only one issue with the wild fires going on, but it was fixed within the hour. So be warned, you should not expect a phone call from Roku when installing the device.
