Some devices have a Simple Remote that doesn’t have TV controls (Power and Volume), so you'll need your TV remote for those functions. The only new Roku devices available are the HD Roku Express and non-plus(+) models that typically come with a Simple Remote. We recommend the Roku Voice Remote if you want to control your TV's power and volume with the Roku remote. Great if you have Xfinity, because there is an app that allows you to watch live TV so you don't need to rent a box from them.
