No subscriptions required to use this. Have replaced my cable boxes. No issues as long as you have good internet. A lot of free apps and options available.

Be aware for this version of Rokuthe remote does not have volume control like the stick model. You must use the TV remote for volume. A bit of a pain but you get used to it.

I’ve been renting Xfinity for a long time now. Just giving them my money, what a waste. Should’ve bought these a long time ago. Great picture quality too.

Roku was the best option. It hooked up in 5 min then took 30 min to sign in to all my accounts.

We have four TCL TVs with Roku and one non-Roku tv. The Roku Express was installed on the non-Roku tv. We can now use the same remote for all TVs.
