We have a few Roku streaming sticks. I like that this one connects with a more standard HDMI cord for a few reasons - one being the fragility of the streaming stick connection, especially with toddler boys. I also like that the remote has a Disney+ button instead of HULU, although the best move would be to make these programmable. You have to actually angle the remote at the device to get it to work, unlike with the Roku sticks. It's well worth the difference in price.

Easy setup. Works great. The tv I have this hooked up to is not 4K so this works great. Responsive and steams HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Disney + with no problems.

I love this Roku, it is so much better than the smart TV user interface I have in my older TV. It is very fast and easy to use and it also has the Formula 1 TV app.

Very basic Roku device that allowed me to the service I needed on a small tv in the kitchen. Great product, simple to install and to use and at a good price.

I’m shocked right now. This thing for some reason is snappier then my streaming stick 4K !!! Got it on sale for $24.99 for the spare room and it’s crazy good value

I purchased this for my mother just as things started getting serious with closures and a better understanding of how much we should stay at home. I wanted it to be easy for her to use and be able to tie into my Roku account so I could manage apps for her and this worked perfectly for that use. 6 months later she's got things figured out. The TV this was being used on is an older 1080p set so 4k and all the bells and whistles of the higher end models wasn't necessary.

Awesome my family like have everything on one controller, they love the Disney plus and hulu and all the other applications you can put on this device!!

My TV is very old... about 8 years old. It’s a smart TV but i could only play Netflix from it which was a bummer because I have other streaming subscriptions. I got this product and it completely transformed my TV. It actually feels smart now. I am able to use whatever streaming platform I like and display pictures from my phone if I wish. It is very simple to use so it’s perfect for anybody. I would definitely recommend this product and I would purchase it a thousand times over.

My original Roku bit the dust - I had bought one of this version to use in my hotel room when traveling. Great price, easy to install. Love it.

Great cable alternative! Saved me alot of money with so many free channels! i put this in my grandchildren's room.

Ease of installation was excellent once we figured out where to plug into the tv. We had to go back to the store. Fortunately, Sean who was our original salesperson was there. He took the time scrutinizing our tv schematics and he was able to determine where the port is. Imagine it was behind the brace holding the TV. I was Impressed that Sean took the time to help us, especially since he had a request from another employee for assistance with another Customer ( who probably was buying a much more expensive product). My old Roku did not support Prime Video, so I upgraded to this Roku Express. HOWEVER, the package does not indicate that a separate AC power adapter (not included) is needed if your TV does not have an available USB port. Otherwise, this basic Roku is easy to install and simple to operate.

Small and easy to travel with. You can take it with you and not worry about logging into a smart TV.

I have both of the roku stick type streamers and they tend to over heat and lock up. This unit has been flawless I like it much better and it was considerably cheaper also
