Obviously, you're getting a budget model with this one, but does that really matter? If you don't need 4K, this is probably the best route to go. I have multiple Express models in my home as well as a Roku Stick. The stick is noticeably faster, but it's not anything crazy. This model requires line of site, while the Express doesn't. That may be something to think about. Every once in a while (maybe 6 months or so), I have to unplug the Express and plug it back in to fix a random freeze. Is that enough to pay double the price for a different model? You be the judge.

The Roku was easy to set up, although I had a friend that worked with me who was familiar with the TV and the device. I find it great in helping with dealing with programs on the TV. I bought a more expensive Roku prior for another TV which I also like. So, when it was suggested I use this one for a TV that was given to me, it was automatic that I gravitated to buy this one for the add on TV.

Need one more for the living room TV. So far have not had any issues. It seems to work well, and it seemed to sync up with my Roku account so set up was easier, since I had several others on the account already set up.

I got this product for my parents non-smart TV in the spare bedroom. The ease of use with one remote was a great selling point. The speed of the apps is great and they can access all their streaming services on it without hassle.

Roku works as a hub for almost all existing streaming services that I know! It is very simple to install and easier to navigate and add other apps other than the common pre-installed in the Roku system. I am using to watch Fanatiz, Globoplay and Apple Tv on my Samsung TV.

Got this for an older gentleman so that he can actually login to see his movies simple easy he loves it. This is recommended for all ages.
