So easy to use, no nonsense like some of the other streaming devices out there. You need a free Roku account for setup and some people get weird about having to enter a credit card, but that is just for in the event you purchase any streaming premium services or anything like that. It's not a big deal. Couple this device with the free Roku app on your phone and you WILL NOT be diappointed.

Two years ago, I became a cord cutter after AT&T wanted $140 + taxes and fees to watch BBC America and 4 ESPN channels (and they took my NFL channel away). I bought $10.00 HD antenna and got 92 different HD channels for free in my area. I streamed from my computer and phone until my son gave me a Roku for Xmas. It was easy to set up and and had all the presets for the apps I stream. This year, I returned the favor. Due to the lockdown, everyone was at home at the same time. my son was working constantly on his computer so I purchased a Roku for the TV he uses. He loves it.

I purchased this at the same time I purchased an Amazon Firestick because it was $10 cheaper and purports to do the same thing as the Firestick. However, after going through the setup procedure on both I decided to return the Roku. I think it would probably be fine for just about anyone to use so I think it just boils down to personal preference.

A great replacement for an older Roku. Nice size, convenient and works great.

This is a great little device. Installed in about 5 minutes and works great. It's so easy to use. I actually went and purchased 2 Roku remotes that would control turning on/off the tv with voulme controls and voice assistance. We absolutely love all the Roku items.

Wish I would bought it sooner! Save so much money canceling my cable! Super simple to set up. Tons of stuff to watch for free. Lots of movies available both free and for purchase. My WiFi isn’t the best since I live in the country, but it still works like a charm. I will definitely be back to buy the more premium version and give this one to my son.

This was a replacement for 2016 model. Roku’s just work better than Fire Sticks or any other streaming service. They are built for heavy streaming and the Roku interface is easy to use and easy on the eyes. It is very quick and follows commands with ease. Highly recommend for those looking to cut the cord or upgrade their streaming experience.

Preferred over Chrome cast. It has more options. I like that there are free channels that plays old tv show. Not quite a 5 stars but 4.5 is not available. Purchased price was great at the time but looks like price has gone up. Ease of use rate due to husband had issue getting it to work or there's a delay from pressing on remote to tv functioning.
