Need something to take to the mountains with me for a long weekend getaway. I hadn’t planned on turning the TV on but the weather left me with no choice. Didn’t want to unhook my Roku Ultra 4K and the cost of this made it a no brainer. With the small size I really didn’t expect much but honestly this thing is fast! I used my phone as a hotspot and had 0 issues with it. Completely satisfied and glad I got it, will definitely use it in the future when traveling.

I am loving my new Roku Express. My old ChromeCast device was "ok" but prone to hanging up and requiring me to reset / restart the current cast, periodically hijacking my phone. I'd get through my episode or whatever but never without a struggle. After the initial Roku set-up (which can be a little tedious) the user interface is infinitely more friendly. I use my TV remote to toggle to the other HD input, set it aside, and then use the Roku remote to navigate my Roku programming. Having to use 2 remotes and not having a voice command option is not a problem for me, but obviously that is a personal preference. Plug it in, set it up, and enjoy seamless free and / or premium content.

I got it for my parent’s room and they love it! It is just like if your tv was a smart tv! It is very easy to use and it is at a great price! I only recommend getting this one if your tv isn’t a 4K tv and if you don’t have the cable because we got the 4K at first but it wasn’t compatible and either way this one looks great in HD! We love it!

Absolutely perfect! Super easy installation and simple to use. Lots of nice options and supports all the apps I wanted. Considering the low purchased price, it's the best bang for the buck out there. Highly recommended.

Easy to use with lots of free programs to watch without subscribing to any pay-to-watch streaming services. Of course, all the popular streaming programs are easily accessed thru Roku if you want them. I like that the Roku remote will turn the tv on/off but I wish it would also adjust the volume so I did not have to use the tv remote. It was quick and easy to set up. Wish I had bought a Roku years ago. I am using the Roku Express with a 10-year old Vizio HDTV and it works perfectly.

It works great for streaming to my tv. The interface is a bit stale in design but it works. The initial setup requires typing in username and password by punching keys on a screen keyboard. They should fix that and allow typed entry.

Great little affordable player. The wifi on the kids room tv gave out, so i got this. It was cheaper thsn purchasing a new tv. Easy to set up, super low profile. It only streams at up to 720p i believe, which is more than enough. Tv's usb port can be used to power it which is great too

Don't let the low price fool you, this Roku Express still provides all the Roku content of the higher end devices. If you don't need 4K then the Roku Express is a great value. The performance when flipping through menus is good and initial setup is very straightforward and easy. The Roku remote is well know as being one of the best compared to all the competitors. The Roku menu interface is nothing fancy but that's what I like about it, it's quick and easy to figure out and navigate. Overall you really can't go wrong with a Roku Express or any Roku device in general.

I bought the Roku Express Streaming Media Player with Standard Remote to upgrade my TV setup, and it’s been a great addition. Setup was super quick and straightforward — took just a few minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and start streaming. The streaming quality is solid with smooth playback for HD content. The remote is basic, without TV control buttons, but it’s easy to use and responsive. If you want something simple and budget-friendly without extra features, this is a perfect choice. Overall, the Roku Express delivers great value for its price, making it ideal for anyone looking to stream their favorite shows and movies without fuss.

The best streaming solution for a low-end TV

I have been a roku fan for years. The beauty of the solution is that it is compatible with virtually every streaming service except AppleTv. Video is great, providing your broadband is adequate. From Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, through Spectrum and Sling TV, everything works beautifully. And one must not forget Roku's own free channel, together with other free services such as Pluto and Vudu (free programming) which all stream flawlessly. At the price of this device, who needs anything different? Of course, if you require 4k picture, you may want to upgrade. But that is ever affordable. Why go anywhere else?

This has been an incredible addition to our home entertainment system. I do have a smart TV, but it's a little older (2015) and so isn't compatible with all of the latest apps. I started looking at this when I subscribed to Disney+, as my only option at the time was to stream through a browser and cast to the TV (doable, but annoying). I wanted something permanently connected, and this has been wonderful. It's so fast and easy to set up, and has so much of my favorite streaming content in one place. The menu is easy to navigate, with very little delay between screens. I love that the remote is so simple. My four-year-old has no problem using it without help.

This is the fourth Roku stick I have purchased (all still in use on seperate T.V. 's) And I love them. I used to use Firesticks but as much as I love Amazon and prime t.v. the Roku product is easier to set up, easier to use, and last way longer without needing replacement there is also a Roku channel that I'm sure you could use from any streaming device but it's easily available on the Roku stick and it gives you free television shows to stream as long as you don't mind watching the commercials or you can pay for upgrade if you'd like commercial free

I have used another brand of streaming device and they always seem to only last a year or less when the interface begins to respond very slowly or lock up completely. I have used Roku devices in the past and these just seem to work better. They respond quickly and the interface is very easy to navigate. 10 out of 10, would buy again.

I have two of these devices for our two TV's. The first was purchased because the Bedroom TV didn't have a Spectrum cable box and accessing the Spectrum channels via their streaming app was so slow an user unfriendly. Hated it. With the Roku I use it's Spectrum app and leave it on that HDMI channel and accessing cable TV is easy and just like with a cable box. The 2nd was purchased because I couldn't install a "Hoople" app on my LG TV but could on a Roku, so it solved a problem. These devices add lots of functionality, even to a modern Internet enabled TV, they're inexpensive and there's no monthly fee. Love them!!

I received a Roku a few years ago with a cable installation. I discontinued using the cable company and still used the Roku with my new cable company. I took it with me to my sons home. Needless to say they talked me into leaving it for the spare room. Now with calif stay at home orders, I was missing my roku so I bought a new one called Roku express and I love it. It’s so easy to connect. You can’t even notice it in the tv console. I’ve Owned 2 Firesticks that have stopped working in the last 4 years. My old Roku keeps on ticking! Now my 82 year old mom wants one for her tv. FYI It’s easy enough for her to use. Love my Roku!

Purchased the roku to be able to stream Peacock. Easy to hook up and stick right on the bottom of the TV. The package includes a piece of double stick tape to adhere along with a remote. Pleased with my purchase.
