My friend installed it on my TV and didn’t have any trouble with the installation. My store experience was very positive. The Best Buy employees that helped me were very knowledgeable.

I am glad that we purchased this, as we cut the cable TV cord. I am fine with the offerings, but we find ourselves still paying for other streaming services.

ROKU remote and plug in

I will never have to pay for cable or equipment again!!!!! The only reason no 5 star rating is no volume buttons on remote. Have to use TV remote for sound. I have one on all the TV'S in the house

Great product - cheaper option

The remote for it gives you the ability to turn the tv on and off, control the volume, and do voice search. With this model, we have it in the bedroom. It doesn’t have any of those capabilities with the remote. I would honestly just go ahead and get the Ultra. The product still works great though!

It is very easy to set up and navigate through. There are numerous channel choices with something for everyone. The unit takes up minimal space. It certainly works for me.

It works really well, allows me to use all my streaming services. It's not lightning fast but it doesn't lag either. Just keep in mind, like the listing says, no TV controls so you can't adjust the volume with the roku remote. Installation is easy, BUT the device is powered through USB and ONLY comes with the cable. So unless you have USB ports on your outlets, you'll need a USB power block like a phone charger.

For instance, the Roku Express HD is furnished with a Simple Remote. Additionally, each Roku player will have different power requirements. The power adapter was removed from the 2022 Roku Express because the player is low power enough to be powered by nearly any TV via the TV's USB port. Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Roku makes good devices, but I don't understand why the Roku Stick and Ultra are the only two devices of theirs that read 5G (our internet provider has a lot of issues with 2.4 in my building but 5G works great). Every other streaming device allows you to connect to both. It's strange, since Roku has the best interface and compatibility.

It gets all the streaming channels I need. If you don't have a smart TV, or if you have an older smart TV that won't get all the different networks, this is a great solution.

No subscriptions required to use this. Have replaced my cable boxes. No issues as long as you have good internet. A lot of free apps and options available.
