I asked him to make it a Roku tv (the remote is much simpler), so we got this. A particularly good decision indeed!

We can now relax in our room and not have to fight over who has the one Roku in our home. Plugging the Roku into the TV for power is so much better than having to plug into an outlet.

Apps typically stay up to date and the user interface is very easy to use! One note to mention is the sticker part is to go under your TV. I accidentally put it on my soundbar without knowing that, but it works fine :)

It has no numeric key pad, so you cannot select an exact channel. It picks up last usage of Direct TV from all other TV's in the house....so when reviewing last accessed channels, it showed all those and not just the ones I viewed. Was inexpensive.

Its a lot to do for set up due to having to log into all of our apps but it works great once in and still have access to all of our xfinity cable options!! Would highly recommend!
