Setup and connection was easy. You may or may not run into an HDCR problem dealing with “copyright” (error code 20) connections. Roku website says unplug Roku and HDMI cables. Suggest that you get a premium high capacity HDMI cable rather than use the short one in the box. If you use a HDMI connector splitter to share one HDMI connection to TV get a high capcity premium one Setup is easy and straight forward

The Roku - Express HD Streaming Media Player. It is very useful for my bedroom tv. No wires to run. It gives an excellent picture and service. It like bringing my big tv from the living room to the bedroom. The great entertainment continues.

I bought this to replace the more expensive Roku Streaming Stick that wasn't compatible with using a universal remote. I had issues with the stick "flashing" during streaming. The Roku Express doesn't have that issue and is now compatible with my universal remote. I have been a true Roku user since the beginning and won't go back!

Works with my older model Sony 32-inch smart TV (early version of "smart TV"). Allows selection and downloading of many streaming apps. Does not provide controls to turn the TV on or off (need a more advanced model to do that).

This is my first Roku purchase. I have had smart TVs but was never able to download apps like Hulu and Netflix because my TVs were too old. I bought 2 Rokus and they are great. Life changing that I don't have to watch these subscription streaming service on my computer.

Absolutely love my roku and don't know what i would do without it! You can beat the price and the quality of it! I have all my favorite apps and have never had a problem with this product at all!!! I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have one! You will love it and not regret it at all.

Solid product. I use Roku to stream Sling in multiple rooms. I use both the Roku Express as will as the original Roku stick.

I bought this for my Dad's TV which is not one of those latest smart TV ones. Setup was easy, updates came fast. Now my Dad has access to Netflix and other apps available in Roku. Very affordable, I'd recommend this one to extend the life of those aging TVs.

This was my first streaming device I've ever purchased. I bought this as a replacement for my parents cable since roku offers Pluto tv app which offers a great selection of content that is always refreshing with updated content. Easy to use and set up for any age, 5/5 definitely would go with another.

it was time to upgrade the roku's. I put this one in my room and it works as designed. I do like these models that attach to the back of the tv now so you don't see them or cords anymore

Very great and easy to use. I dont have any issues with this device. Have it for months and still runs well! Sure it freezes sometime. But like 2 times in 6 months. This is why you should restart all your devices once a week.

I enjoy the new Roku, it was so easy to install and I was able to begin using it in a very short time. I enjoy having a choice to watch so many programs. I recommend this to others who are looking for additional programs to enjoy!

I live out in the country with no available cable. I took this out of the box plugged it in and whola I now have movies, local channels and TV stations at a click of a button. I loved it so much that I bought another one for my daughter. Buy this and you wont regret it.

this item is easy to set up and use. its very user friendly. I am amazed at all the free viewing available and the ease of adding streaming apps. what i didnt like is the Hdmi cord to hook it up to the TV is very short so unless you have a shelf very close to your tv you will need a longer cord

This is the 3rd Roku I have purchased for 3 different TVs....I tried a Firestick, however returned it as it wasn't compatible with my cable company. Roku sets up very easily....for cable I only need one connection and I use the cable app on the other 2 TVs to access any cable stations. It is a great product!
