Dont get me wrong I LOVE ALL THINGS ROKU!! I was a firestick believer for years then realized I could give up cable and use spectrum app when it was still allowed on ROKU. GAME CHANGER FOR ME. Anyway so the reason is because i bought this one for my mom and paid much more for this one then the 17.99 that i paid for mine and they do and provide same things. Or perhaps I am not savvy enough to realize the full potential of the upgraded versions???

Works fine with Verizon. Would recommend trying out.

We purchased this as an upgrade from our old one that quite working after a few years. This one is much better. I like that it doesn’t just plug into the HDMI port on the back of your TV so reception is considerably better. Logged into Roku, downloaded the apps and was good to go. Would recommend this one.

Easy to use unit. Doesn’t have ability to control your TV though.

This really is all ya need for a bedroom or garage TV. Spectrum has a built in app on this great device which saves on renting a cable box. I made the switch from cable to internet. I regret I didn't make the switch sooner. It does take time to get used to it.

My son gave me a great big television with a remote with too many buttons. I asked him to make it a Roku tv (the remote is much simpler), so we got this. A particularly good decision indeed!

This is a great basic roku model, if you don't have a 4K TV. Only bad thing I would say is that is doesn't seem to have great wi-fi range. If your roku is going to be on the far side of the house away from your router, and on a different floor than the router, this unit may not be the best option. The Roku Streaming Stick + 4K HDR would be a better bet. But if you using the Roku on same floor and within 25 feet of router, you'll probably be good to go.

If you need to make your non-Smart TV into a Smart TV then this is a pretty cheap yet solid purchase
