ROKU customer service stinks

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid extra for this unit and it wasn't compatible with my tv it doesn't turn it on and off and do the volume like advertised. I called customer service at ROKU and you might as well just throw it against the wall you would have just as much success ... they really don't care at all.

You will need a credit card to set up the Roku. Plus when you are starting it up and trying to get to a channel, I feel that there are too many clicks. I also have a Chromecast and the set up and operation is easier.

Easy setup, but USB on my TV was not able to power it so I plugged it into a wall outlet. It can only be connected via WiFi and the range seems to be pretty short. Have had to move around to get signal. Works well when it has signal.

The remote should be considerably less to purchase rather than buy a whole new system when I did not need a new system.

Also, you don't get a power block to plug it in. Get the Google Tv for the same price and get a complete setup.
