    It doesn't come with an ac adaptor. It wouldn't work without it. Why are they not providing it with the roku?

    I bought this in Jan and now it is Nov and has stopped working for me. I did not get geek squad since I did not think it would stop working this soon. It worked great until the end of Oct.

    Terrible product. Worked fine for a few months and now randomly disconnects from the Internet. Others are having the same problem. All my tablets, laptops, and smart TVs have no issues. Avoid Roku. Don't waste your money!

    Best Buy return policy is 15 days, BTW

    Not Roku, just upset about 15 day return policy at Best Buy. I was inside 30 days… but would not take… look at your receipt closely. I will remember that when buying the next time.

    Does it’s job most of the time, frequently receive message about power level being low and then won’t work. Not sure what that’s about. Never had issue with fire stick like that.

      Hi Dave, thanks for your review! It's possible that there may be an issue with either the cable or the adapter. You can try using an alternate cable or power adapter to power the device. If you're currently using the TV as your power source, try plugging the device into a wall outlet instead.

    We have purchased signal booster to get better connections but still very slow & constantly buffering. Also not able to control on & off with this unit...

    I would give this a zero if I could. Bought this for older TV. Salesman at best buy said it would work. Did nothing! Now I’ve opened the box and can’t return it. What a waste.

    I have another Roku device which I've used for the past 5 years or so. I've never had any issues with that, so I was disappointed when buying the Express to find it glitchy. With Hulu, there has been an ongoing glitch for the past 2 months where adverts interrupt shows, and continue to display over the program. I've also had issues with it crashing when using Sling. Unfortunatly since Roku have not bothered to fix either issue which have been reported to them months ago - I'm returning this and buying something else!

    The price was too high, considering it DIDN’T come with a thing that you could plug into an outlet, because, I’m not sure how much one of those things go for but, if you don’t know someone close to you that has an extra one they could spare, that’s just another thing you have to buy. I mean, come on - - for $30.00, EVERYTHING you need SHOULD BE included.

    It's a Roku, sure, but it's slow, and has no volume control button. Do not buy. Buy Roku express+ instead.

    Based on previous experience with Roku devices I trusted that this product would be a simple and inexpensive unit for a second tv. When it refused to work I went online and found the majority of this model failed to work right out of the box. This is incredibly stupid for Roku as a company an Best Buy as a retailer to sell such a worthless device. This lack of quality control sharply lowers my opinion of both companies. I will do my homework in the future and avoid Best Buy.

      Hello! Your Roku Express will include a power cable but not a power adapter. You can use the included power cable to connect your streaming player to the USB port on your TV. This usually will provide sufficient power to your device. If you'd prefer to plug it into a wall outlet instead, grab any standard USB adaptor that you have at your house, (like your phone charger cube) and you'll be ready to go. Happy Streaming! roku
