I purchased this at the same time I purchased an Amazon Firestick because it was $10 cheaper and purports to do the same thing as the Firestick. However, after going through the setup procedure on both I decided to return the Roku. I think it would probably be fine for just about anyone to use so I think it just boils down to personal preference.

A cheap streaming device that is very easy to set up and use. I now have 4 Roku units on various TVs in my house and am happy with how they work. The only problem is that microwaving disrupts the signal and sends it into buffering mode.

Simple to install and quick to use. I did have a password malfunction in the beginning my password for my WiFi starts with an upper case letter and Roku accepted only the lower case? Amazing amount of channels and movies to choose from. Caution it’s addictive because you can choose from categories you enjoy !

So easy to use, no nonsense like some of the other streaming devices out there. You need a free Roku account for setup and some people get weird about having to enter a credit card, but that is just for in the event you purchase any streaming premium services or anything like that. It's not a big deal. Couple this device with the free Roku app on your phone and you WILL NOT be diappointed.

This was a replacement for 2016 model. Roku’s just work better than Fire Sticks or any other streaming service. They are built for heavy streaming and the Roku interface is easy to use and easy on the eyes. It is very quick and follows commands with ease. Highly recommend for those looking to cut the cord or upgrade their streaming experience.
