It works fine. I don’t have any trouble with it at all. Every now and then I have had to reset it but that’s no different than your phone or your computer. And I would not recommend paying or buying other subscriptions for apps over Roku. I would go to that app site and buy my subscription. Always go directly to the site. It’s not about Roku. It’s just for your safety.

The TV we have in the bedroom is not a smart TV so we purchased this Roku Express and it also was easy to set up and my husband is very pleased with the performance and quality we get from this device.

Love this for quick access to my streaming services. This was good for my 1080p TV, but for a few dollars more you can get the 4K version but looks nearly exactly the same.

Instructions are very easy to follow, This device can turn any TV into a smart tv with all the up to date apps you will need or want and is very compact so it wont take up alot of space .

Why go with anything else Roku is the best for streaming basically anything. Good price one time set up.

The set-up was easy, and has some apps that your smart HDTV may not have. Also recommend if you're "cutting the cord."

So, we are lifelong cable users, who started out streaming, slowly, with Netflix ETC. Then cable went up by $60.00 PER MONTH! Then we looked into ways to get regular TV on this ROKU (sling is easy and less expensive than our new rate increase) savings of hundreds a month, we can buy subscriptions for channels we actually want to watch, and we don’t need to change cable companies every two years, or argue over constant rate increases! This is so easy to use, and headache free!

Very easy to set up. Was able to add multiple apps with no problem. Works well with no issues. Great value, great purchase!

Bought this to go with the tv I got from Best Buy. So much easier to use than the fire stick and has a lot of viewing apps to watch tv without a tv service. I got it on sale so the price was right

Chances are you already know what a Roku stick does if you're here. If not, you're looking at possibly the best streaming device you can have on the market considering how compatible it is with your existing cable services. We've replaced all Xfinity boxes in our homes because these allow you to download the Xfinity Stream App, which you can't do on a Fire TV or Chromecast With Google TV even if you try to sideload it with the APK. it allows you to cast content as well. Turn your dumb tv into a smart tv or use it to upgrade your old smart tv that the manufacturer definitely doesn't support anymore because smart tvs can be a crapshoot.

This product worked flawlessly from the moment I connected it to my (1080p) TV. Setup was easy. I have Roku built into one of my TVs and another (4K) TV of mine has a Roku Premier player connected to it. All the streaming channels I enjoy (Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime and more) are available, and I find even more great content on The Roku Channel. I also enjoy how simple and convenient Roku's user interface is to use. One extra plus: I was able to power my Roku Express off the USB port on my TV using a shorter micro USB cable I had on hand, eliminating one more power cord, plus the Roku is now only on when the TV is on. I would definitely recommend Roku to anyone in the market for a streaming media player.

My fire stick was acting up and was very slow. This Roku is very fast and responsive. I programmed it up to my harmony remote and wifi. Easy to use and plays youtubetv as well.

This new Roku has many of the channels already installed. Easy to tie into our account. Compact box that plug into outlet or any 5 watt USB input for power. One cable for HDMI. Super easy to connect everything.

I was surprised it cost less at Best Buy then their competitors. I ordered it online and picked it up in less than an hour. Roku was easy ro set up and actually outlasted the TV it was bought for.

For a budget streaming box, this is the one to get. It doesn't use as much data as I thought, as I have a limited data allotment with my internet service. I would say we stream about 4-6 hours a day and we use about 50 Gb of data per month. This is with SD quality for most channels and HD for the Roku channel. I have heard the Amazon box uses much more data, as do the 4k and 4k ultra Roku boxes. I have an older TV that is only 720p, so it doesn't make sense for me to buy a better streaming box. As far as setup, it was pretty easy. I set up account, plugged it in, then pushed some buttons and connected to my wifi router and was streaming in no time.

This gadget is great. It is really simple to use once it is set up with all the channels I want. It allows me to stream anything I want, but does not currently work with Spectrum's service.

I love the Roku because of easier access to different channels that I frequently stream such as FilmRise, FilmRise horror. Tubi, Pluto, Roku, even music. I also Transferred to Disney +, HBOmax, AMAZON, and Netflix..to name a few. I’m a little older and I cannot stand too many ups and downs with my finger just to reach my favorite Stations. I loaded more than 57 items I don’t have to spell out the names it’s all already on the Roku list to whereas on my LG smart TV a lot of these stations..do not exist! So for continuity and ease of use, all my smart tv have A ROKU attached. The tile visuals on the Roku are larger. Btw, Rokia is cheaper than most of the others.
