    It is a good solution to cut cable and not hurt the pocket. I do not like the fact that there is no way to turn the tv on and off

    My issue with the Roku is that I can’t control the volume or power of the TV. I have another streaming attachment which can do that. The plus of the Roku is that it has live TV included in the Roku TV service. That gives me the ability to see news feeds without having to get an app I might need to subscribe to for local news. Also, Vudù fully functions on Roku. It doesn’t on my other streaming device. So the plus is better streaming services. The minus is loss of TV control.

    I was able to get rid of 3 cable boxes ($21 per month from Spectrum) by getting 3 of these. You need to keep at least ONE of the cable boxes and may have to download the Spectrum app to the Roku. But all the channels on the normal box are available on the Roku. IF you have the ability to run an Ethernet from the Cable router then get the better Roku setup,
