    Roku is a family favorite streaming device. We have had our first one for 6 years and it still works. We purchased this one for our daughter's Smart TV that doesn't allow for an upgrade in applications. We have bought the Sony version once and it was not as user friendly and has given out. We suggest this device to everyone.

    If you already have a late model SMART TV this might not be necessary. I use mine on an older model Samsung bedroom TV. It is a valuable addition that's worth its cost.

    As a die hard Apple TV guy I was very hesitant to try out Roku ... I was wrong. This little guy has just as much if not more power than the extra 200 bucks it cost for an Apple TV. Also if you’re resistant because your library lives on Apple TV? Roku has an Apple TV app to access all that content too!

    The remote has to point in the direction of the device or it doesn't work but works just like the other Roku devices.

    I bought this mainly for travel (since I have to do that frequently with my job). As long as you don't load it up with too many apps, this thing works great. Connects to hotel wifi easily and the video quality is great.
