Beats Fire Stick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this thing, I have Xfinity and was sick of renting their equipment and the rental fees going up yearly, so I scrapped 2 of the 3 boxes I had from them and got the Roku Express which just so happens to have the Xfinity Stream App so I could enjoy my cable programming without the ridiculous fees and also not having to sacrifice some of the best features of Comcast’s platform since this little gem has all of the streaming providers built in! Definitely happy so far.

The Roku is great...Until it stops working!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Roku is great...Until it stops working! We bought two of these Rokus at BB in June 2020. One of the Rokus suddenly cannot connect to the internet. In fact, when it attempts to bring up wireless in the area, it can't find any. Not ours, not the neighbors. But the other Roku is fine. Going through all of the troubleshooting tips led to nothing being resolved. I switched the two Rokus from one TV to the other. The "good" Roku still worked; the "bad" Roku still didn't work. Sadly, Roku won't speak to customers to resolve issues. And their online Roku Community can only help so much. Besides, anything I posted to the community can be hard to find later. So when these break, they break. I think these devices should last for more than two years.

Nice inexpensive streaming device

Great picture quality. Limited processing power, so it can’t play MPEG-2 streams directly from a HDHomeRun, but most people would only use it with online streaming services anyway.

Decent media streamer, better than Google devices

The price is right and while not as full featured as my AppleTV, the cost is also much less. I like that I can stream directly to it.
