It is much more convenient than the Google Chromecast since we do not have to worry about the phones being hooked to it. The remote is easy for them to use and we like that. They do not use it much, but when they do, it's appreciated.

Some devices have a Simple Remote that doesn’t have TV controls (Power and Volume), so you'll need your TV remote for those functions. The only new Roku devices available are the HD Roku Express and non-plus(+) models that typically come with a Simple Remote. The only thing I don't like about it is that the remote does not turn on or off the tv or have volume control

The second time I connected it, it didn't work. I thought it was broken already, but when I used the USB to plug it into the TV it worked. Otherwise it is working fine now. Too new to tell though. O
