What to do?

It was suggested we try Roku. My husband wants his local news so we had to get an antenna. He also wanted his CNBC. So we would have to get a streaming service that carries that in its line up. The antenna is bad news! The Roku does work, we just don’t use it.

It works

The wifi failed in my samsung tv. It had always been a bit wonky. With this Roku in a hdmi port all is well. Tv now is better than it ever was on wifi or "cable one" cable.

Roku works fine

For the first week it kept rebuffing and I was ready to take it back. Then I moved it to another room and I haven't had any problems since. I did buy 2 of them, but I haven't hooked the second one up yet.

Saving money

Perfect for a TV without apps

Nice functioning device

Great device does what we want

Roku TV Challenges

We STILL cannot get local Hawaii TV channels. The instructions are confusing online and we don't have the prompts that they indicate. We've tried for days a few weeks ago and gave up. We can only watch special channels like Roku, Netflix since we have a Netflix account. I don't recommend purchasing this brand of TV.
