I didn't realize how "easy" streaming could be. My kids tried introducing it to me via Netflix and it was TOO MUCH for me to try to navigate and figure out what to watch. However, my mother recently started streaming and bugging me to try it and get away from cable/satellite. So after some time and research, along with getting an ad for a different stream "channel"- Philo I wanted to give it a try. So when I went to Best Buy they recommended this Roku saying it was the easiest device for streaming. Boy, it sure was and easy to set up too!!

I love this! It was super easy to set up and was cheaper than buying a smart tv, it’s a good option if you don’t want to purchase a smart tv

Invaluable device for a non smart TV Easy to use right out of the box

I bought this for my sister to keep the cost down. This is also the first time she has had a digital device for TV. Apparently some Roku devices had been hacked. As soon as she plugged it in and went through the sequence to start her service, she received a phone call and said she needed to pay $80 for an IP address. Unfortunately she paid it before asking me. We already had the service set up through Xfinity at a cheaper rate than what they offer. An Xfinity technician was there to help and found out that the call did not come from Roku. Well after everything was finalized with the help of Xfinity, the device works great. Only one issue with the wild fires going on, but it was fixed within the hour. So be warned, you should not expect a phone call from Roku when installing the device.

This is my 3rd time purchasing Roku devices. All of my Smart TVs have their own Roku device in various rooms of my home. The remote and features are very easy to use. I love Roku so much I purchased one for my parents as a Christmas gift and they absolutely love it! Roku allows me to have more options in high quality stream lining channels at a fraction of the price compared to only cable channels. The bonus is you can also watch a lot of free channels that come with Roku. Great value for a great quality streaming device!

I used both fire stick and and Roku. I like Roku is more good interms of speed, ease of use, features. Good product and great price.

It's very easy to use. You can add a ton of channels. It was very easy to set up and the cost was low compared to the other devices like this.

It works I found it to be an easy and inexpensive way to watch streaming service on an old television. Since I have 2 others it didn’t seem too hard to hook up. What other alternatives are there?

Easy to install, connect to WiFi & to download my favorite apps. I own 4 Roku’s that’s how much I love em. Roku is a must have!
