  • Removes the Spectrum Box

    The major advantage is the removal of the Spectrum Box and related monthly charges. The device requires a very strong wifi signal, otherwise be ready for Buffering. It's very annoying and frustrating to have intermittent outages. When working, Roku is a slower operator than the Spectrum Box. Channel selection is performed through advancing channels on the Roku controller, not through channel selection buttons. This is aggravating but if you have a number of Boxes, the savings can be sizeable. So far, I have accepted the aggravations knowing that the savings are sizeable each month..

    Needed a roku for my basement tv to put the spectrum app on it. Works flawlessly and I’d recommend this product to anybody.

    Roku is my go to. I recommend Roku compared to ita competitors. I also have Roku TV,Speakers,soundbar and Subwoofer. Very easy to install and wireless. You dont even need an HDMI to connect.

    Once I set it up (I'm technically literate but it still took me an hour to decide which "free channels" I wanted to see and how to shuffle back and forth between cable TV and Roku. But it does its job.
