    I was told by a Xfinity rep that I could lower my bill by replacing my cable boxes with a Roku device. I wish I would have known about this years ago.

    I bought this product specifically to get HBO Max. My 2014 Samsung smart TV was too old to load the HBO app. I did not look at the Roku upgraded products because my TV only displays 1080p. This device displays "snow" - type interference on the image for HBO Max. Not satisfactory, but in reading the reviews this is a common issue. It also frequency buffers the stream and sometimes resets the stream, also apparently common.

    I like this one, is good for the price. The only problem is that if you have an apple tv plus subscription, that apple app almost never works on roku.

    Not quite as great ( but still good) as our Roku with wifi boost. Most problems are probably from our crummy wifi.
